Yvonne's words angered Geoffrey. He wore a cold expression, like a wild beast ready to break free.

"Yvonne, get out of here! From now on, you are not allowed to come back without my permission!"

Geoffrey turned to leave.

Yvonne immediately scrambled to her feet.

She was also enraged, and shouted recklessly, "Dad, you're too much! You used my mom, then cast her aside and divorced her to be with another woman! How can you live with yourself doing that?"

Geoffrey stopped in his tracks and clenched his fists. Gritting his teeth, he asked, "Did your mom send you to find me?"

"It has nothing to do with Mom!" Yvonne replied. "I just want to know what kind of woman seduced you! I didn't expect it to be an old woman!"

If it were a young girl, Yvonne wouldn't have been so surprised. Although she would still be angry, at least there would be a reason for her father's infatuation.

"She didn't seduce me!" Geoffrey said angrily. "Do you want to know what my relationship with Sydney is? Fine, I'll tell you. She's my first love, and I love her deeply. Back then, I married your mother for power and abandoned Sydney. Now, I'll do anything to win her back.

"I even raped her and recorded it. I threatened her that if she didn't sleep with me, I'd go tell her husband and her son about it, as well as her mother who has dementia, and ruin her family's peace forever. So, she gave in to me!"

Geoffrey's expression gradually turned frenzied, and he began to laugh. "So now you understand, right?"

He stepped up to Yvonne, grabbing her shoulders and saying, "I'll do anything to get the woman I want. You better not provoke me, or I won't show you mercy, even though you're my daughter! No one can stop me from being with the woman I love—no one!"

Geoffrey's stance was terrifying, like a beast ready to devour everything. He had lost all rationality.

Yvonne stared at him wide-eyed, retreating a few steps in shock.

"Dad, are you crazy? If that's the case, it proves she doesn't want to be with you at all! What you're doing won't lead to love!"

"I dare you to say that again!" Geoffrey growled while clenching his fists.

Yvonne didn't know where her courage came from. Thinking of her sad mother, she mustered all her strength to speak.
