Suddenly, Vincent shot forward like a cheetah, moving with lightning speed.
His movements were swift and agile. His punches and kicks rained down like a storm, precise and deadly.
Before the group could react, half of them had already been knocked to the ground by Vincent.
Gunfire and the sounds of fighting echoed through the air.
Vincent's attacks were incredibly fierce, each strike filled with lethal precision, as if he were dancing with swords in the dark, the glint of blades flashing with deadly intent.
His footwork was exceptionally nimble. He darted through the crowd like a phantom, easily avoiding their attacks. His sharp eyes seemed to cut through the darkness, exposing every weakness of his opponents.
The scene descended into chaos. Rosalie attempted to escape, but no matter which direction she turned, she was blocked by the fighting men. She could only retreat, and in the end, she found herself back where she started.
The scene was extremely dangerous, and one misstep could result in her getting hurt.
In no time, the men were utterly crushed by Vincent's relentless assault. One by one, they fell to the ground, utterly defeated and groaning in pain.
The men who had been surrounding Rosalie were now lying far away from her, and she was unharmed.
Rosalie stared in shock at the men scattered across the ground, then looked up to see Vincent walking toward her, a faint smirk on his lips.
He crouched beside Rosalie, pinched her chin, and gently wiped away the tears at the corner of her eyes with his thumb. "Didn't I tell you? Begging them is useless; it's better to beg me."
Rosalie looked at him in disbelief. She hadn't expected this man to be so powerful, taking down all of them on his own.
Suddenly, Rosalie noticed blood seeping from Vincent's shoulder. "You… You're hurt."
Vincent looked down and saw that he had been shot in the shoulder. Only then did he begin to feel the pain.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
