The mention of Youngie's name made Vincent's eyes go dim. A vicious look flashed past his eyes.
He grabbed her face and spat out through gritted teeth, "Don't talk about her!"
He used so much force it felt as though he could crush her face to pieces.
Youngie seemed very important to him indeed, Rosalie thought.
Vincent suddenly released her face, clutched his chest, and took a few steps back.
Rosalie reached out to hold him, but at the thought of what he just did to her, she retracted her hands, still feeling slightly miffed.
"We're not done with lunch yet," Vincent said as he stumbled to the dining hall.
Rosalie exhaled out loud, almost losing her balance.
After a long time, she finally managed to compose herself and crouched down to pick up the things on the floor and stuff them back into her bag.
She glanced at Vincent and saw him walking to the dining hall. She walked cautiously to the door, intending to open the door and leave.
But the moment she tried to push the handle down, she realized it didn't budge one bit.
"Don't waste your energy," Vincent said coldly. "You can't open it without my fingerprint."
Rosalie sighed helplessly.
She didn't expect she would need his fingerprint to leave this place.
She put her bag down and sat down in the dining hall.
"Ten thousand dollars and one week. If it's just taking care of you and cooking for you, I can agree to that."
She had no other choice right now. She didn't have ten billion dollars and she couldn't possibly go to Sebastian and borrow so much money from him. She couldn't afford to return the money to him anyway. She didn't want to die, so she was left with this final option.
Vincent finished up lunch and went straight back to his room in silence.
Rosalie cleared up the dishes and called Sebastian.
"Seb, I'm sorry. I want to stay outside and be alone for a few days."
"What's wrong, Rose?"
"Nothing. I just need to cool down. I'll be back in about one week."

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
