It was all his fault! He should have chased after her then. He shouldn't have let her leave alone.
If he had resolutely pursued her, Rosalie wouldn't have run into trouble.
How could he have let her go home alone after she came to find him in the middle of the night?
One moment of hesitation had led to a grave error.
With a thud, Theodore knelt beside the wrecked vehicle. "I'm sorry, Rose! I'm so sorry. It's all my fault. I'm a bastard… I'm such a bastard!"
He had lied to her to protect his pathetic pride, causing her pain. Once again, he had abandoned her for another woman, letting her leave on her own.
He finally understood why Rosalie hated him and why she was unwilling to forgive him. He was just a bastard—a thorough and utter bastard!
Every time, he hurt her feelings and even abandoned her. At first, he hurt her for Cynthia, and now it was for Aurora.
He truly didn't deserve her, and he never would. If Rosalie died, he wouldn't live either.

Night fell.
Rosalie had no idea what Vincent was doing in the room. The door was closed, and she didn't want to disturb him.
Just as she was about to go make dinner, she suddenly heard a banging sound. She thought the noise was coming from outside.
Rosalie went to the window to look, but everything was quiet.
Thinking she must have misheard, she turned to head to the kitchen, only to hear the banging sound again.
This time, the noise was continuous but very faint. If one didn't listen closely, it was hardly noticeable.
Rosalie felt that the sound was coming from beneath the floor, so she crouched down and pressed her ear against the ground.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
This time, she confirmed that the sound was indeed coming from below.
What could that sound be? Could it be a problem with the foundation underground?
Looking around, Rosalie spotted a door.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
