Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 968

Rosalie was frustrated.

Theodore lowered his eyes, looking somewhat dejected. "Fine, go on. I'm listening."

He wanted to hear what she had to say. This man clearly had ill intentions.

"He asked me to stay with him for a week, but it was just to cook for him and clean up. Nothing else. He didn't harm me. He was just lonely and wanted someone to keep him company."

Rosalie turned to look at Justin through the glass and spoke softly. "He had a sister, but she died. That's why he treated me like a sister. It's not like you think."

Upon hearing Rosalie's explanation, Theodore still felt that this man wasn't a good person, but hearing that he hadn't hurt Rosalie, he let out a sigh of relief.

"What are you going to do once he wakes up?" Theodore asked.

"Of course, I'll take care of him and help him get better. After all, he saved my life. I owe it to him."

"He saved your life, so you're worried about him. What about me, Rosalie?" Theodore grasped her arm and couldn't help but say, "When you were kidnapped, I risked my life to save you, but you chose Sebastian. I almost died back then! Why didn't you protect me like you're protecting Vincent?"

"Did you give me that chance?" Rosalie retorted. "I admit that I chose Sebastian back then, but I had no choice. I had to pick someone, or you both would have died. I've said it countless times—no matter who I chose, I would be in pain.

"If I could, I would have chosen to die myself, but the kidnappers wouldn't let me! I admit I hurt you, but after that, I came to find you. I searched for you desperately, but no matter what, you refused to see me. Eventually, I found out your whereabouts through your mother, and I went to the hospital to look for you. I spoke to you through the door for a long time, but you weren't there. Theo, I wanted to talk to you so many times to clear up the misunderstanding, but you never gave me a chance!"

Theodore was stunned. "What are you saying? You went to the hospital to look for me? What did you say to me?"
