Night fell upon the villa. The room was filled with gloom.
Aurora was curled up on the bed, her body shaking as tears fell from her cheek. Her sobs resounded in every corner of the room, turning the air cold and desolate.
Her face had lost its color; pale and weak, like an abandoned, wilted flower. Her eyes were red and swollen like two blood-red rubies, filled with deep hatred and sorrow.
Her hair hung disheveled by her cheeks, looking like a lifeless waterfall, unkempt and sluggish.
"Why? Theo, why aren't you back yet?
"Even if I'm just a replacement to you, you should at least pity me a little. How could you just forget about coming back after going off to look for Rosalie?
"Did you find her? Are you two having the time of your lives together now?"
Anger burned in Aurora's chest as her face twisted with agony.
All she could feel was the helplessness of being abandoned and the pain of being betrayed. All those feelings attacked her relentlessly, breaking her spirit thoroughly.
Hatred burned in her heart like a blazing fire, engulfing her rational and kindness.
"I can't take this, I just can't! Why are you still thinking about her when she's married to another man and even his child?
"Don't you find her filthy? Don't you find her disgusting? Her womb carried the baby of another man! Her body has been tainted!"
Aurora's pain and sorrow melted into the darkness. She was completely lost in hatred and anger.
The air hung heavy in the room, like a graveyard consumed by an air of hopelessness, making one feel suffocated.
"Theo, why must you treat me like this? Why? Why must I love a man like you?"
The thought of the man she loved only having eyes for Rosalie made her cry out in anguish.
Her medicine was in the bedside drawer. She immediately reached out to pull the drawer out and take her medicine.
She was about to take it when she thought of something.
"Theo, you refuse to come back, right? Will you come back if I were going to die?"
An extreme thought came to Aurora's mind. She opened the bottle of pills and spilled them all over the floor.
When the pills scattered across the floor, Aurora suddenly thought of something.
If she were to die, she would have nothing.
If she were to die, how would she be able to fight with Rosalie?
She would only be able to see Theodore and Rosalie enjoying each other's company from the afterlife. She wouldn't gain anything, and she would also lose her precious life just for the sake of venting her anger.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
