My screams bounced off the walls as Sebastian goons placed the iron rod that had been dipped into fire and drenched in silver on my skin.

“I always used to think you were immune to pain. The happiness I feel after seeing you like this is boundless. How the mighty have fallen and over a girl? I would have never thought” Sebastian commented as he was seated at the other side of my cage with his leg crossed, staring down at me with a smirk.

“She’s just not any girl, she's my wife. I already surrendered to you so don't you dare touch her” I muttered through clenched teeth as I tried to glare at him despite the extreme pain I was in.

After learning that Sebastian could in fact get past Romeo's boundaries and even knew where they were, I had no other choice but to give in to him. I would willingly give up my life if that meant Clara got to live and train our children.

“You’re in no position to threaten me, Death viper. I'm far more stronger than you'll ever be and if i want to kill every fucking wolf on this planet then I will” He uttered and I let out a chuckle which more or less sounded like a groan.

“Stop with the torture and let's fight with our fist and see who's far more stronger. If I wasn't stronger than you, you wouldn't be going through such antics just to get me weak. Accept it sebby, immortal or not, you'll always be second best next to me”

I muttered with a grin and instantly, Sebastian was in front of me, glaring down at me with anger in his eyes.

He grabbed the rod from his goon and I screamed in pain as he pressed the rod against my neck.

“You’ve got such a loud mouth for someone that's at my mercy. Maybe after I've killed you, I'll take in your wife as my mistress and have my way with her. For her to be able to keep you then the sex must be heavenly. I can only imagine” I let out a loud howl and surprise flashed across his eyes when I broke one of the chains that was binding my wrist and grabbed onto his neck, digging my claws into his skin.

“I don't care if you're fucking immortal, you talk about my wife in that manner again and I'll drag you through such mental torture that you'll end up taking your life just to escape me. I dare you to test my words” I muttered through clenched teeth and fear flashed through his eyes before they suddenly turned red as he grabbed onto my neck and pulled my fingers wrapped around his neck easily.

He bent my fingers inhumanely possible and as much as they hurt like a bitch, I maintained eye contact with him, daring him to test my words. When it came to Clara, I was all bite and no barks.

Seeing the seriousness in my eyes, he let out a chuckle then threw me to the ground.

“You’re a tough one aren't you? Chain him up and use stronger chains this time” He ordered and the goons immediately rushed towards me and chained me up.

I was too tired to fight back.

“You know, you could have just joined hands with me and together, we would have taken over the world. With the two of us combined, no one would be able to stop us. We are far more stronger than them, Damon. Why do we have to be on the same level as everyone else when they can all be beneath us? That's all I want, I want to be a god. A god whom everyone bow their heads to. You can be a god too” He told me and I scoffed.

“I thought you hated me because I killed your parents?” I questioned and he rolled his eyes.

“You did me a favor actually. That old man didn't want to die and I wanted to become King but now being King is not enough. You need to stop acting like the hero you never were and join me. Do you think anyone is going to appreciate you fighting for them? They don't fucking care, Damon” He uttered and I stared at him for a while.
