Reese's POV

"Go to hell" I threw the vase on table towards the vanity mirror angrily. In a second the mirror shattered falling down on the tiled floor. I glared at the pieces as I felt my heartbeat racing.

"Reese? Oh my god what are you doing?" Mom gasped as hurriedly walked towards me.

"Are you crazy?" She grabbed my arm and pulled me away from the shattered glass on the floor.

"What were you doing? You may get hurt"

I pulled my arm from her clutch and looked at her "I am hurt mom, I am already hurt" I yelled.

"Reese"

"I can't stand the way Avan is ignoring me. When that bitch was here he clung onto me like his life depends on it. He used to be so sweet and loving. But now he is avoiding me every time I go to see him" I gripped my hair and yelled.

"Reese, dear Avan is Alpha now. He has a lot of work to do, '' mom said, giving me a smile.

"No, he is not a busy mom. He is just making it up as an excuse to avoid me. I know it. When that bitch was here he used to find a way to come near me. He always used to have his way even if he had too much work. But now even if he has no works he still makes excuses when I tell him to spend time with me"

"Is that true? Is Avan really doing that?" Mom gasped.

I nodded "I can't let it happen mom. I can't let him ignore me like this. What if he gets involved with other women including that slut Shyla" I gritted my teeth.

"Why are you thinking like that? Who is more beautiful than you in this pack? Men are always lusty. It does not matter whether they have mates or not. The more beautiful the girl is, the more attractive men find her" mom replied.

"You are right. He couldn't like Shyla because she was not beautiful and attractive in his eyes. But he turned his head towards me. And now I won't let him go back to her again. No matter what"

"I know, my daughter is beautiful and intelligent. She could never fail" I smiled at mom.

"Thanks mom"

"Don't worry, after a few days the hunting event will start and you are the best female wolf in the pack so Avan couldn't leave you behind. Just use this as an opportunity and don't let him get away" she smiled. I smiled back as I could clearly understand her meaning.

I nodded again "don't worry mom"

After mom left I walked towards my wardrobe. I selected the most sexy lingerie. I grinned when I looked at it. I quickly wore it. The lingerie is almost transparent in design as it only covers a small part of my breast and womanhood. Avan will neve be able to ignore this. Since he won't spare his time I will seduce him till he gives in. Grabbing a silk robe and wearing it I headed out of the room.

When I knocked on his study room, I heard him telling me to come in. I grinned and adjusted my robe, losing the knot and exposing my chest a little, then walked inside. I saw him sitting on his black office leather chair. I bit my lips as I walked towards him swaying my hips sexily. Hearing the clicking sound of my heels he looked up and his gaze paused on my chest. I can feel him getting aroused and I smirked. I knew he couldn't ignore my body no matter what.

"Why are you here?" He asked as he threw the file he was holding on the side table.

I smiled seductively "I heard that the hunting event is starting again?"

He nodded "yes" . He took a sharp breath as I moved towards him and smiled.

"Are you going to take me with you?" I asked huskily and bending my body towards him.

His eyes fell on my breast and glued on it. I raised my hand and put it on his chest "Avan it has been so long. I missed you so much" I whispered in his ear.

"Reese thi-" before he could say I kissed him hard.

"Don't ruin this moment, Avan. I know you missed me as much as I did" I whispered between kisses. I felt his arm sneaking around my waist and straddling me on his lap. He untied the knot and in a second it fell on his feet.

"God, you look fucking sexy" he said huskily looking at me body. The lingerie I am wearing clung to my body like a second skin.

"Ah..." I moaned as he grabbed my breast and squeezed it hard.

I took a deep breath. Finally coming back to the pack is blissful. So many things happened in these few days that I couldn't even imagine. I never thought I would get a second chance to find a mate. I thought Avan was the last one but no I was totally wrong. If he was the last then I would never find Hardwick.

"What happened? You looked tense?" Tanea stood beside me watching the view "the garden always looks beautiful no matter how many times I look at it"

"Hmm..." I replied.

"Sav what happened? Are you fine?"

"Yeah" I nodded "it's not about me. It's about Hardwick"

"Hardwick? What about him?" She looked confused.

I sighed "I still can't understand this second mate thing. I mean I never heard of it before. A werewolf having two destined mates?" I frowned at last.

"This is confusing," Tanea shrugged, "but it's not false either. Werewolf has a strong sense and there will be no mistakes in finding their mate. It never goes wrong. Since Alpha Hardwick has already said that you are his mate then it can't be a lie. A man like Hardwick, he doesn't seem to be a kind who jokes. And you have already rejected the first bond too"
