Hardwick's POV

The painful groan echoed in the dark cell but there's no one who could help the person in pain. Another whip fell on the already bruised skin making the groan louder.

"Stop..... Stop ....stoppppp" the person shouted on his top lung.

I waved my hand and Ryan pulled back the spiked whip away. I got up from my chair and smirked when the ruined face of my enemy became more torn.

"Are you liking my welcome dear Messiah? Do you want more?"

Messiah looked up. His face was covered with cuts and it was bleeding. His face looked horrible and I guess that even his subordinates couldn't recognise him. His face looked painful yet there's not an ounce of pity in my heart.

"Hardwick let me go" he said as he panted.

"When did I tie you?" I asked, shoving my hands in my pocket and throwing an annoying smirk at him "I am keeping you without any bound so why are you complaining about letting you go?" I stepped forward "you can leave anytime you want it's just .... this leaving is also depends on you, whether you could or not"

His body shook then it trembled "you are torturing me here you bastard. You think you are giving me an opportunity?"

"If I were in your place then I wouldn't have raised my voice like you. You know what I hated the most is invading my territory without any notice. If you were that much interested in war all you needed to do was inform me instead of sneaking around"

Messiah glared at me "huh, don't probe Hardwick. Just because you have a large army it doesn't mean you could always take the winning crown. Let me tell you there will be one day when you will be helpless even with your force" he snapped.

"You think only an army is enough to build an empire?" I laughed "it has been years yet your IQ is still stuck in elementary position Messiah. Tsk, tsk looks like even all these years you haven't learnt much"

"Fuck you bastard" Messiah hissed.

"Shut it" I mocked "throw your temper to those who will be scared by that. Since you are not aware of that I will teach you some. You were talking about training and having a large army gives you an advantage to win? Is that? " I smirked "but let me clear your conscience, having an army is not enough, having strong force is not enough. Even if it has possibilities of your advantages but if you are weak and your mind works in an elementary position then you are destined to lose. For example YOU"

Messiah's face turned paler. Even through the brushes I can clearly determine his expression. His paleness made my smirk turn into a grin. God, it's really entertaining.

"And about me being helpless then you can only dream. There's no one who can do that" I told him arrogantly.

"Fuck you Hardwick" Messiah growled "don't get so high. If I get the chance I will drag you down to hell with me"

I smirked "looks like you still want to enjoy the welcoming process"

"Come on man. Let's just finish this. I am getting impatient" Ryan said, rolling his eyes.

"Not so fast" I replied as I fixed my gaze on Messiah who was on the dark floor of the cell. If it was not because of him I wouldn't have come here leaving my mate at such a moment. I have no idea what she would think of me leaving her after progressing so much. I was about to take her, I was about to get a taste of heaven but this bastard had to interfere and ruin everything. How could I let him go so easily?

I squatted down before Messiah "you like to intervene in my territory isn't it? I have been giving you chances to stop and get the hell out of my place yet you could not keep your claws to yourself and had to ruin it. Huh the rogue master, are you enjoying my welcome gift?"

"Don't talk like it's all my fault Hardwick" Messiah glared "it was you for whom I was kicked out of the pack. If you were there then I would still be living in the pack holding a high position but it's all because of you that I had to leave. You think I like living like this? It's it was not for you then I would still be happy with my life"

"Don't throw your sins on others you bastard" Ryan growled from behind. "It was you who raped the teenage girl who didn't even shifted. You think ruining one's life is a small mistake? Because of your fucking shit she lost the ability to shift. It was all because of you, bastard" he shouted.

Messiah glared at Ryan but didn't say anything.

"You have done many sins Messiah and even after that just kicking out of the pack was just a small punishment that didn't even enter my eyes. If I could I would have put you to death. But alas those elders..... You were lucky enough because of them. But now you dug your own grave. I hope you won't think too much about it"

Messiah gritted his teeth "if you let me go this time I will leave and would never come back"

I laughed out loud. Does he think all these are funny? He thinks just because he said so he will be able to leave? Is there any more naive person than him?

"You think it's easy?" I smirked at him "I have given you thousands of chances yet you never picked them. And now that there's no route for you, now are trying to probe huh?" I grabbed his chin and pulled his face so that we could look at each other.

"At first I was not interested in dealing with you but you forced me to do this. If it's not for you I wouldn't have to leave my mate alone and come here. You really have the guts to interfere in my work. Since you enjoy it then I will give you what you desired" I said and shouted again "Kristopher"

"Master" the huge man walked in bowing his head. Kristopher is a wild man. He is taller and has a huge body beyond normal so it makes him look giant.

Kristopher raised his head and looked at Messiah. I could see the drool on his face. And mother thing about Kristopher is he is a sex starved wild beast. He doesn't like women but his taste sticks on men. And for a handsome man like Messiah is definitely his type. I could definitely guess Kristopher's intention so I got up and smirked at Messiah.

"Let's go Ryan" I said as I walked towards the exit door.
