Clubrooms Diary novel Chapter 15

LISA

May 9th 2018

I stand outside the club trying to muster up the courage to confront Chad! I left the club planning to never return. But reality hit me and I have bills I need to pay. I have plans to travel the country and I'm not gonna let Chad fucking ruin it for me.

I straighten my back and raise my head holding it high. I pull the door back and walk inside. The moment the door closes behind me, someone collides into me with enough force to send me falling towards the ground with a slight thud to the side of my head.

I sit up to see Chad on the ground next to me.

"Jeez Chad!" I groan as I rub my head.

He props himself up onto his elbows and his eyes look me up and down. He scowls noticing my change of clothes. I was pissed when I got home, I quickly changed out of the attire I had on and got into something more comfortable. It wasn't until after I took a shot or two of Sambuca, I noticed the green led light flashing on my phone. I unlocked my screen and saw it was a missed call from Chad. I press play.

"Look, I'm sorry if I embarrassed you. I know I'm an ass and I can't help it. Just come back so I can apologise." I hear him sigh just before he hung up.

Thinking it would be interesting to hear what he had to say I picked up my car keys and made the ten-minute drive back. Only to be knocked over and repulsed by the sight of Chad all over again.

My eyes nearly pop out of their sockets as I watch Maddie grab him by the collar of his top and punches him in the nose, chuckling. Blood leaks from his nostrils and he wipes it with the back of his hand. Maddie saunters off back towards her room and Chad lays there watching the sway of her hips. My eyes run down his body and they land on his erection.

"Fucking sicko," I mutter.

It twitches and I look up meeting Chads eyes. He wriggles his brows and smiles.

"Gross," I gasped.

His teeth were covered in blood and it made my stomach churn. I stood up and headed straight towards the bar. I picked up a cloth wetting it and taking it back to him. Not that he deserves an inkling of my kindness.

"Here." I shove the dampened cloth in his face.

"Naaaawww, you do care." He sarcastically says pouting.

I throw the cloth at his face and walk away.

"Fucking moron," I mutter.

"Lisa." He says. His hands wrap around my waist from behind stilling me.

I step out of his unwelcomed touch putting some distance between us. I turn to face him, despite the fact he makes me wanna puke. "What is it Chad?" I ask irritated.

"What I said earlier in the bar... I'm sorry." He says sounding sincere.

"Can we chat in my office for a minute or two?" He uses the cloth I threw at him to finish wiping his nose.

My eyes look past him, down the hallway towards the back entrance. I chew on the side of my cheek drawing blood. "No more games?" I ask crossing my arms scowling at him.

"I can't promise you that." He smirks.

I turn to walk away. "Okay, okay." He quickly says running in front of me.

"Two minutes." I agree and motion towards his office.

He links our arms together and starts to drag me along with him.

We get it to his office and he quickly ushers me inside closing the door behind him. I walk to the front of his desk and take a seat.

"You changed?" He says as he sits behind his desk noticing my change of outfit.

"You haven't?"  I arch a brow.

He chuckles. " Fiesty."

"Annoying," I say bitterly.

"We can't all be perfect like you Lisa."  Leans forward resting his elbows on the desk.

"Never said I was." I lean back in my chair and prop my feet up on his desk.

"Hmmm." He reaches forward and roughly slides my feet off the desk.

They hit the ground with a slight thud. I sit up in my chair. "What do you wanna talk about Chad?"

"I was an ass earlier, and I'm sorry." He looks at me sternly, rubbing the back of his neck.
