Clubrooms Diary novel Chapter 19

MALAYINA

May 10th 2018

I reach the corner of the building next to the Club. Huffing and puffing like my fat ass has just finished running a marathon, and I'm short of breath. Taking the bus can do that to you when you absent-mindedly get off three stops before yours. I'm tired and being here, at the club. Is the last place I wanna be right now. Caddie is still on the mend and baby Jaxson still requires a lot of attention. Sleep wasn't something I was able to indulge in last night. It was a requirement that had to be pushed aside.

I walk through the carpark and with impeccable timing, a big black SUV pulls in and parks up. I quickly walk through the carpark, trying my best to shield my face with my hands.

"Please.., Please.., Please.., don't see me," I whisper, walking as fast as I can. Trying my best to move without being detected.

I reach for the door handle, and at the same time, a hand firmly lands on my shoulder.

"Mikros." His heavy accent cuts right through me.

I jump with fright and gasp. Placing a hand over my pulsing heart I turn to face him.

"Amar," I say, sighing.

I look up into his beautiful green eyes that are fiercely focused on mine. I pull my bottom lip in between my teeth and gently nibble on it. I can feel his eyes touching my soul and it's causing my skin to heat up.

"After you." He finally says as he opens the door and waits for me to enter before he follows me inside.

I walk straight to my room desperately trying to swallow my nerves. I turn the handle and enter.  I wait for him to enter before I close the door, locking it behind him.

I turn to face him and suddenly my back's pushed up against the door, with a light thud echoing through my ears. Amar leans in and uses his body to imprison me. His face is close, and his minty morning breath fans my face.

"You were supposed to show up to work yesterday, as we agreed." He growls.

"Caddie needed me after your bodyguard ran her over," I say scowling at him.

He leans in closer, the tip of his nose touches mine, and he lets out a small frustrated growl with one corner of his lip rising.

"What did I say to you, mikros?" His eyes heavily on mine.

I swallow. "You own me until I can pay you back," I respond through gritted teeth.

"Nai." He smirks.

Knowing he has me right where he wants me. Vulnerable and timid.

"No one owns me, Amar. I'm nobodies property." I say with disdain.

I place both my hands on his chest and try to push him away. Attempting to create some respectable distance between us. I fail and he chuckles like a mad fucker with a death wish. I huff, blowing the loose strands of hair out of my face.

"I distinctly told you, I will come to see you every day. Until you tell me something worth listening to." He arches a single brow.

His hand moves down to my hip and he grips on to me with firm fingers. The tips of his fingers dig into my skin, my breath catches, and with wide eyes, I continue to stare at him.

Never in my days, have I ever felt the need to slap some asshole right into next week.

"Jaxson needed me." I groan.

"I need you."  His voice is firm and demanding.

"Are you a five-month-old baby?"

"Óchi- No." He says in Greek, then English.

" THEN, You don't need me," I say boldly.

"BUT I do." His fingers dig deeper into my skin, causing a slight discomfort sensation. "I need you to pay my money back." He smirks.

"You've waited all these years, I'm sure a few more weeks won't kill you," I tell him with a huge smile on my face.

He releases my hip and brings his hand up to my face, clutching my jaw in his hand. There's a pinch of pain, before pleasure that accelerates from my face right down to my pinky toe
