Jessica, who had understood everything, was even more shocked when she heard what Rosa said.
Why was her grandfather the deacon who served her mother directly?
Her mother’s family has a rigid hierarchy, and how could it be...
“It goes too complicated. I can understand every single thing. But how could it happen in my mother’s family? Would I have made some mistakes? Could you tell me all things?”
Jessica could not digest so much information. She looked at Rosa with puzzle in her eyes.
“Miss Jessica, you don’t worry, and you will know everything as long as you find the colorful glass box.”
Rosa looked lovingly at Jessica and told her something, patting her hand and beckoning her to be patient.
“Miss Jessica, I’ve talked too much today and I’m exhausted. I have to take a rest.”
Rosa looked at Jessica with a smile and slowly closed her eyes.
Jessica was very worried and hurriedly called the doctor.
“Please relax, and it’s a miracle that the patient can get through that. Besides, she has talked so much today and she needs rest. As much as I can tell, the patient has taken a pill which worked and saved her.”
The doctor explained and then left.
Jessica took out the needle and a special container, and took a few drops of blood from Rosa’s finger, putting them in the special container. She checked Rosa herself again.
Soon the ingredients were quickly dissolved in special containers, and the result shocked Jessica.
It’s…Stronger heart-protect pill.
Jessica had found something strange as early as she found Rosa in the suburbs of Country A. But she had no findings until now.
Stronger heart-protect pill was a pill that her mother developed before she left her family.
No one, except Jessica’s mother, can make the medicine.
Her mother should have such a vision, and she had secretly fed Rosa Stronger heart-protect pill in order to last her life.
All of the things hit Jessica and made her at a loss.
While Jessica was thinking, she received a text message.
“What happened to Lorenzo? Whatever you’re busy with, come back here and explain yourself!”
The message was from Kevin.
“I will go to you even though you don’t text me.”
Jessica quickly replied.
...
In the hall of the Armstrong residence, Jessica first went to check her grandfather as usual. She recalled what Rosa had said to her in the hospital.
Grandpa was not sober and there were a lot of mysteries. Also, she didn’t find the colorful glass box.
Rosa said something to her before she took a rest.
Jessica’s mother, Erica, was not a citizen in Country A, and she came from a mysterious country.
What made Jessica tangled was the man who Rosa was scared of.
“I want to ask you something. Come with me.”
Kevin looked at Jessica with a cold face and his voice was even colder.
“How did you get in touch with someone like Lorenzo? If you are already married, why don’t you behave yourself?”
Kevin took Jessica to a quiet place in the backyard and shouted loudly.
“Is it Leila again? Father, you are so anxious to see me here because of that diamond card, right?”
“You must make it plain to me! How did you get the diamond card? You just come back from the small village and how did you have a relationship with somebody like Lorenzo? I should have asked you when you were in the Claus Kagel Restaurant. Did you seduce Lorenzo?”
In Kevin’s eyes was full of disgust, and he even wanted to punish Jessica according to the domestic discipline.
“Seduction?”
Jessica sneered, with disappointment and coldness in her eyes.
