Critic novel Chapter 64

Last week was awesome. Franco has so much plan. Now, I'm just waiting for him to propose. How is he going to surprise me with it? I'm so excited. A week has passed but no proposal happened. Lately Franco seemed stressed. He doesn't seem to be himself. Maybe there is something bothering him. Money or his work at the firm or at the agency or other business he is involve with that I don't know. I need to talk to him about it. He asked me for dinner tonight so probably we will talk about it at dinner.

"What seems to be bothering you Franco?" I asked in a soft tone. " You seem so worried lately?"

"Nothing, I just mismanaged my time that's why I'm crambling right now. I have some few designs to finalize. Then the agency, I can't seem to cope up with my workload. Maybe I will pass my responsibility to Andre for now coz I can't handle being too hands on at the agency. It is not my forte anyway."

"But you seem sad? What is it about?"

"I don't know how to tell you Tara, hopefully I can tell you. But not now." Franco went back to his food. He seem so down, but he is not telling me what is he upset about.

"Did I do something wrong. Or anybody upsetting you?" I asked again. I'm so concerned over his change of demeanor since last week he was so excited about buying a house then now that energy turned upside down.

"Let's not talk about it. How about we enjoy the night?" He diverted the topic. He wanted me to stop asking.

"Alright. Tonight we have fun." I hold his hand and smile at him. Somehow the night goes well. The smile on his face is back. He holds my hand as if it will be our last. I can feel his warmth.

"I hope we are always like this." I told him while we are walking at the city enjoying the lights.
