“Liberty, what’s going on?”

“Both Duncan and I are busy today, and we don’t have time to fetch Sonny from school. Can you and Zachary pick him up? Then take him to his dad. Hank said he wanted to see him.”

Hank promised that he would no longer appear in front of Liberty and disturb her life.

He kept his word.

If the Brown family wanted to see Sonny, Liberty would take him to the old neighborhood where she and Hank used to live. Olivia would be waiting at the entrance of the neighborhood. “What’s wrong with Liberty?” Elisa asked with concern.

“Liberty’s occupied with work and she couldn’t pick up Sonny today, so she asked me and Zachary to help. The Browns wanted to see Sonny, so we’ll take him to the Browns once we pick him up. It’s the weekend tomorrow, so if Sonny wants to stay, let him.”

Elisa questioned, “I wonder if the Brown family has really quieted down?”

“Yes. Hank is a man of his word. Aside from visiting Sonny from time to time, they no longer bothered my sister. If only they had done this sooner, they would not have ended in this predicament either.”
