Cupid's Arrow hit me hard! novel Chapter 2664

Serenity got tired after walking around for some time, so Zachary brought her and Sonny back to the villa where he lived during his bachelor days.

As their holiday was coming to an end and they would resume their work life, they decided not to stay in Wildridge Manor anymore for convenience.

Once they entered the door, they heard Grandma May’s booming voice.

Zachary and Serenity exchanged glances.

They did not think she would be here.

“Great-Nana.”

Sonny was excited to see Grandma May. He ditched his aunt and uncle, running toward Grandma May immediately.

The old lady waited for Sonny with open arms.

“Zachary, Serenity.”

Dylan was in the house too.

The booming voice they heard earlier was Grandma May scolding Dylan.

It seemed like he had angered her somehow.

After greeting Grandma May, Zachary and Serenity sat and asked Dylan, “Did you anger Nana? We heard her from outside.”

Dylan looked helpless and aggrieved.

Zachary immediately knew what the issue was. He patted his brother’s shoulder silently.

As Sonny was around, Grandma May did not scold Dylan further.

He grabbed the chance to escape.

Grandma May did not make him stay, but she let out a few harrumphs of dissatisfaction.

Emma pouted. When she saw Ava coming out of her room, she said, “Cece brought Hunter food. What a filial daughter.”

The resentment in Emma’s heart dissipated a little after Celine was punished.

It would be better if Celine got unluckier and managed to piss Belinda off. Once Belinda chased her out of the family, she would no longer be a young lady of the Fishers.

Ava said, “Celine’s just sucking up to Dad and Mom now. They’re all falling into her trap. This is too disadvantageous for Carol, Emma.”

Ava approached Emma and whispered, “Do you have a way to make Mom chase Celine out? It’s best if she loses everything. She isn’t a part of our family anyway. I don’t know what Mom and Dad are thinking by letting her stay. She keeps targeting and bothering Caroline.

“Caroline is our true sister-in-law. Celine is nothing but a maid’s daughter, yet she enjoys the same status as us now. She even bullied us sometimes.”

More importantly, their husbands adored Celine and were biased toward her. Whenever they had conflicts with Celine, their husbands always took her side.

In the past, they had tried to please Celine but ever since their husbands cheated on them, only then did they realize how hateful Celine was.
