Darling, Don't Get Rid of Me novel Chapter 28

Charlene worked for Wesley though she was in Pleasure Media. She would not keep Charlene as her agent since she would monitor her even though Charlene was an excellent agent.

She thought Wesley would have to blame her for messing up with Charlene but nothing happened after a day. She got confused instead.

The new agent reported to her place early the next morning. Wearing a red pumpkin hat, the girl, named Molly Bush, looked pretty tidy with her red lips and white teeth. She was the same age with her. She looked tidy and was cute enough to let others pinch her cheeks.

Sitting on the sofa, Molly briefly introduced herself and then talked about the scripts. "I prepare these scripts for you and please take a look for the roles."

Harriet glanced at a familiar script, and wondered, "Deep Palace Plan"? Hasn't it started shooting?"

Molly looked at it and shook her head, "Oh, this is not for you. This is a temporary transfer from our company's newcomer to act as a maid. You can check other scripts."

Harriet stared at the script in her hand thoughtfully.

An hour later, they arrived at the crew of the "Deep Palace Plan" at the film and television city.

The stylist was styling Harriet's makeup. Molly was sitting next to her, frowning, "Why are you going to act as a maid? Kate has already sent you many good scripts."

"Hone my acting skills. Don't all the good actors have to start with acting a small role?"

Harriet looked at herself in the mirror and raised her lips, smiling meaningfully.

Before the official start of the shooting, Irene came out of her independent dressing room after the stage supervisor had urged her for three times. When she saw Harriet, she looked at her with a scornful smile and a sneer, "What a pity that you still have to be my maid even though you return to Pleasure Media. It looks like that the boss back you is not that powerful man, right?"

Harriet was pretty calm.

"After all, I am just a freshman here. I am not good as Miss Whitty. Please kindly give me your advice."

Irene sneered, very proud.

Harriet's eyes darkened behind her. She still remembered the hot tea splashed on her face. She would fight back this time.

"Deep Palace Plan, for the first time in 8 scenes, the action begins--"

In this scene, the little maid played by Harriet would serve tea to the concubine played by Irene. The tea was poisonous, so Harriet's hand trembled slightly but she needed to pretend to be calm," Goddess, please have some tea."

Irene lifted the teacup, moved the lid to skim the tea leaves floating on the surface then lowered her head to taste a sip. She immediately put down the cup and raised her hand——

"Stop!" The director shouted fiercely, Irene's slap was interrupted in front of Harriet.

"How did you know that the tea is poisonous, and how did you make sure that it is the poison put by the maid. Why there was no emotion changing in the process? Where was your eyesight acting? Have you watched the script?"

They re-shot for three times in a row. Irene did not meet the director's requirements and was scolded heavily in front of the crew.

Harriet suddenly proposed a suggestion when the whole crew was worried about the filming.

"Director, how about I show Irene how to do it?"

As soon as these words came out, Irene immediately lost her temper.

"I reject! What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing is impossible!" The director sneered. "I think this maid performs better than you. You guys exchange your roles and play again."

Irene's face was all pale with her teeth clenched for a long time, but she didn't dare to disobey the director's arrangement.

After a few minutes, Harriet was full of emotions. Her fists pinched on the small sandalwood table, and her eyes were full of betrayed anger, "I treat you well! Tell me who let you do that!"

Irene lowered her head reluctantly, "No, no one let me do that."

"Why do you treat me like this?"

Harriet stood up sharply, slapping Irene heavily which made her fall down the ground directly. Harriet covered her face with incredible disbelief.
