There was decisive fierce flashing in his eyes. He pressed the pistol without hesitation.
The bullet entered his body, and the severe pain made him sober instantly.
The man didn't expect Wesley to be so cruel to himself as he originally planned to come in after he was fainted.
But he had missed his chance, and the alarm sounded outside.
The door of the villa was knocked open. He quickly flashed out of the kitchen and went up to the second floor. He jumped directly from the hidden window sill and took advantage of the night to hide on a dense tree next to the villa.
"I missed it." After a while, a low voice like a duck came out in the dark night.
Jack led the police into the villa and quickly found Wesley.
"Boss, are you okay?"
Wesley ignored his injuries, and said anxiously, "Send Harriet to the hospital."
Jack saw the weak Harriet on the ground, and quickly ordered, "Hurry, take her to the ambulance."
"Sergeant Davis, please keep confidential about what happened today." If the affairs of the giants were exposed to the public, it would be difficult to deal with the rumors.
Sergeant Davis nodded, “Assistant Jack, do not worry and I will keep it confidential."
Police staff began to collect evidence in the villa. Although Wesley gave himself a shot, he was not seriously injured.
It's just that the man who released the smoke bomb was really powerful. After leaving the danger, Wesley tried to stay awake, but in the end he couldn't hold back, and he fainted as soon as he got on the ambulance.
Jack quickly held him up, "Doctor, please check my boss's wound!"
The doctor glanced at Wesley and continued to stop bleeding for Harriet: "He is fine. You don't have to worry too much."
What? He already fainted!
Jack turned to be solemn. Who had the gut to secretly kill boss in Opera Villa.
This was the first time he met such thing since he had followed him for so many years.
Jack had no clue for the time being and could only wait for the police station's outcome.
At the hospital, Harriet and Wesley were pushed into the operating room together. They were both shot and injured, requiring surgery to remove the bullets.
"Oh no, the patient's blood type is special." The nurse checked Harriet's blood type. "The hospital has no storage."
Harriet had lost too much blood and must have a blood transfusion; otherwise it was likely to be life-threatening.
"Go out and ask them if her family can come here soon."
The nurse hurried out to find Jack.
This happened so suddenly and Jack had no idea how to people with the matching blood type.
Wesley woke up soon and Jack told him about the situation of Harriet.
His gunshot wound was not serious, just needed to take out the bullet and bandage the wound.
Harriet's blood type was special, and blood donors were hard to find. The fastest way now was to find Louisa.
Wesley frowned but did not let Jack contact her.
He suddenly remembered that Colin was Harriet's brother, maybe he had the same blood type with Harriet.
"Jack, call Colin and let him come to the hospital immediately."
"Okay, I will do it immediately."
In the review class, Colin was studying seriously when he saw a call from a strange phone number. He ignored it.
But the phone was keeping lighted on and he couldn't ignore it at all.
He could only bend down and secretly answered it, "Hello, who's that?"
Jack simply said, "Colin, your sister had an accident at Glorious Hospital. Come over here right now."
"Be here as far as you can." Jack hung up the phone and immediately asked other people for help, hoping to find other blood donors soon.
Colin stared at the phone inexplicably, thinking it might be a scam.
But he felt something bad happened in his heart. He called Harriet but she didn't answer it.
"What's wrong?" He grumbled and frowned. He called her four times in a row, but no one answered.
Colin panicked till now got up and rushed outside the classroom without any hesitation.
Louisa realized his strangeness long ago, and shouted at him, "Colin, what are you doing? Where are you going?"
