She saw Wesley was drinking with a middle-aged man.
He watched over through the voice and Harriet was too late to hide.
She stood stiffly.
The middle-aged man beside him flashed a stunning look when he saw Harriet, and then beckoned to her, "Are you arranged by Boss Lincoln? Hurry to serve us!"
Wesley retracted his gaze indifferently, as if not knowing her.
Harriet smiled, took the bottle from the waiter's tray, and walked over quickly.
"Pour the wine for Boss Smith first."
Harriet struggled to walk toward Wesley, pouring wine for him while bowing her head.
"Boss Smith, I think she looks pretty. Do you like her?" The middle-aged man hinted.
Wesley gave him a cold glance.
The man shut up immediately, knowing that he might have said something wrong. Everyone in the circle knew that Wesley did not mess up with women and had little gossip. In addition, he was very fond of the daughter from Jones family.
"You come over here." The man's eyes flashed darkly.
Harriet's back was rigid and she glanced at Wesley, then walked towards the man.
The middle-aged man was obsessed with her with his hand stretching out to touch her.
Harriet was about to hide but her arm was suddenly pulled back with her body falling into Wesley's arms.
"Where are you going?" The atmosphere was frozen, and his voice was cold.
She dared to flirt with another man in front of him. She was just challenging his dignity as a man.
"Don't you know?" Harriet asked in a low voice, glancing at Wesley and trying to stand up.
The man next to him had already hinted at him. Didn't he know? Why did he ask her instead?
Wesley hugged her tighter and was about to warn her, but noisy footsteps came from the door, and then the door was pushed open from the outside.
"You dare to trick me." Mike glared at Harriet tightly, "I just wondered why I couldn't find you everywhere. And you just hang out with other men without telling me. I will kill you."
What! What was he talking about! Mike was the Oscar winner, alright.
Harriet couldn't move.
Mike was furious and would want to kill her at once. He rushed over with great force, followed by his underlings.
Harriet was a little scared, but she felt safe with Wesley. She smiled instead and just held Wesley's arm with her whole body sticking to him. She played the woman and said, "Boss Smith, I belong to you. You have to protect me."
"Bitch." Mike came forward and would like to grad her arms.
Wesley got up suddenly and pushed her to the sofa. He kicked Mike to the ground with fast and heavy force.
The middle-aged man next to him noticed that the situation was not good and immediately notified the bar staff.
Mike hit the ground with his knees. He had never been hit like this. He immediately pulled out a knife from his waist, "You beat me. You do not want to live!
"Guys, action." His underlings took out weapons and surrounded Wesley.
The shining weapons frightened Harriet and she pinched the sleeve of Wesley hard.
God, how could they escape! Would they be cut to death?
However, Wesley did not show any panic, and he remained calm.
As long as someone got closer, he could knock him down at once.
"You dodge over there," he said coldly.
Harriet hurriedly left him and hid behind the sofa, staring at him in surprise.
She never knew that his skill was so good.
Mike didn't expect to encounter such a fierce guy. He looked at him more atrociously. He was going to attack Harriet when he saw she was hiding in the corner.
Wesley noticed and yelled, "Run!"
Harriet was frightened hard, and she quickly ran to the other side of the sofa.
But there was another person on the opposite side, blocking her path.
Harriet remembered that she had a bottle of portable perfume in her bag and came up a plan. She had accidentally sprayed it in her eyes before which made it hard to open her eyes for a while.
