Date with Me, Sugar Mama novel Chapter 27

He took her hand and slowed down his voice as if to reassure her, "It's okay."

"I told you to stop. Didn't you hear me?" Viola snarled.

Steven looked at her with a smile, "Since we are on the same boat, what's the harm if he loses two legs?"

"Steven!" Viola was enflamed.

Seeing that, Steven had to say, "Ok, OK, I will stop, but I have a condition that we should talk about our marriage later."

"We talked about it last time!”

Steven smiled at her and murmured, "But honey, I am greedy."

Viola froze.

Janet suddenly screamed, "Sister! Sister! You gotta make him stop! Eric didn't mean it; he was just telling the truth!"

Janet began to begged Viola. If there was something wrong with Eric, her dream marrying into a rich family would not come true and the Chambers family was likely to pursue her responsibility! It was gonna be bad for the whole the Sutton family!

Viola was upset by that and wanted to end it as soon as possible. She said, clenching her teeth, "Ok, I agree with your condition, let him go."

As Steven waved his hand, Eric was finally free, and Janet threw herself over and choked with tears.

"Steven! You are so arrogant! I'll make you regret it!” Eric immediately cursed him. He was the biggest grandson of the Chambers family. How dare Steven a nobody humiliate him like that?

Steven turned a deaf ear and took Viola's hand and left without turning back.

As for the mess inside, whoever caused it, clean it up themselves!

"Steven... Steven... it that true? Ha ha ha ha ha..."

Tyler’s laughter drew the curiosity of others eventually. Viola did not feel strange, since Steven was a famous mascot in the Chambers family. Without any real power in the Chambers Group, he reduced to be kept, which was really ridiculous.

With a blank face, Steven reached out and pushed Tyler away ruthlessly, "Get out."

"Fine, I won't disturb you. Take your time..."

The cubicle door slammed shut.

Tyler's voice was cut off.

The world turned quiet at last.
