Viola felt that if the man was not an impostor, Steven, as a member of the Chambers family, would only come to disgust her and would not agree to her request.
If this man ganged up with Eric to set her up, she would let Eric regret it!
But the next second, Steven, with his thin lips curled, answered without hesitation, “Ok.”
Everybody was surprised.
“Uncle Steven! Are you crazy! You are a member of the Chambers family! Your father thinks you are useless and now you work with an outsider to destroy my engagement! It will be disgrace to your father!”
Eric spoke anxiously, showing no respect to this powerless uncle.
Steven was unimpressed.
From beginning to end, he only stared at Viola.
Viola was still angry with a sullen face, though she had watched a “good show”.
All kinds of signs showed that the man in front of her was indeed the “ugly” Steven.
But if he was Steven, why did he help her, an outsider, to destroy the engagement?
In addition, Steven seemed to be determined to support her...
She could not figure out why, she decided to smash the scene first.
She took a deep breath, with the cold light in her eyes, and yelled, “Smash it!”
A dozen strong men immediately stepped forward, kicked chairs and tables, and smashed everything they could. The engagement was in a mess like it had been through a hurricane.
Seeing that, the guests immediately fled away screaming. Before long, only a few people were left in the hall.
Steven was conspicuous, who still stood calmly in the same spot. He was completely indifferent to the noise.
