The room was dimly lit, so much so that it was hard to make out each other's faces.
"Maja, come with me."
His voice still had its gentle tone, but to Maja, there was a subtle hint of deliberation in it this time.
Could it be her imagination?
"Hey, I want to leave," she said, her voice wavering just slightly. "I made it clear the last time. Our agreement has expired."
The last time, she had been groggy for days, and when she woke up, there was no explanation, and he was nowhere to be found. That had made her wary of him.
Even if he once was the dream of her youth.
"Maja, I'm sorry you fell asleep last time."
His words said sorry. His tone, however, suggested anything but.
Maja's sense of unease deepened, and she took a step back.
Due to the effects of the wine, she felt hot and dizzy, as if she was about to explode.
She turned around, intending to leave through the small door she had entered through and head back to Rosewood Manor for a cold shower to sober up.
But before she could, a pair of hands wound themselves around her waist. Startled, she struggled fiercely.
"Let me go!"
The feeling of danger intensified, sharp and clear.
"Maja, go to sleep."
"I don’t want to sleep! Don’t make me sleep again!"
But it was not up to her.
The familiar scent of flowers hit her once again, coupled with the effects of the wine, and she passed out.
The man took her to a secluded room and instructed a woman who had been waiting there.

Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
When will the author update to finish Beck's story? What about Dylan and Tyler's love lives? Also, I'll like the author to write on Wilma and Elvis ending up together as she was quite persistent in pursuing him. And Shawn's story, Cornelia Sullivan and Omar Casson. Also, a little write-up on Jeff (Ian's assistant) love life, too. Thanks, author for updating....
