Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 1056

Beck was genuinely worried that his family would blame him if anything bad happened to Judith. After all, he couldn’t control his little sister anymore. Everyone knew that she was the prized gem of the family, especially in their mother's eyes, who would willingly place her on a pedestal.

If something bad really happened to her, the whole town of Greenfield would be in turmoil.

And then there was the issue of Ian, who was quite the menace.

Without wasting another second, he dialed Dylan Sanders, his eldest brother.

An icy voice came through the other end, "Yes?"

Hearing his voice, Beck felt a shiver run down his spine.

"Bro, you need to come to Greenfield."

"Did you mess up again?"

"It's actually Judith who's stirring up trouble this time. She's going crazy over Ian. Remember when you told me not to mess with Ian? Judith is trampling all over his boundaries and he just called at this late hour to warn me."

There was a moment of silence on Dylan's end before he finally asked,

"Is Judith dating him?"

"Yep, but the thing is, Ian has a girl he likes. Everyone knows about her."

"Who's the girl?"

"She's not from a big family. Her background is a bit complicated, but Ian's head over heels for her."

And Beck found Maja quite likable, but he dared not to say it aloud.

Dylan was silent again for a while before finally saying, "I'll try to come over soon. Mom misses Judith too."

"Bro, please hurry."

After hanging up, Beck again reminded Judith not to make any rash decisions. Otherwise, when Dylan arrived, she would definitely be in for a punishment.

Meanwhile, in North America.

Dylan stared at the family photo in front of him, his finger gently tracing over it.

Judith was the frailest in their family. As a child, she was always sick with high fevers, causing everyone to worry about her all the time.

Even though she was somewhat spoiled and willful, she was still his little sister and he needed to protect her at all costs.

Their blood ties were undeniable.
