Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 1062

Maja found the situation amusing, clutching the leash of Rocky, her canine companion.

Her gaze shifted to Ian as she requested, “Ian, will you mind unloading the stuff from the car? I think Rocky prefer a walk. He must be bored stiff being cooped up in the car the whole time.”

Ian nodded, quickly opening the car door and beginning to unload their luggage.

The pair completely ignored Judith, rendering her presence rather superfluous.

Judith swayed a bit, managing to stay on her feet with sheer willpower.

Maja, poised to walk away with Rocky, was taken aback when the huge dog bumped into Judith.

Judith who was already weak, stumbled back a few steps.

Maja was surprised by that scene. Rocky had been Judith's pet for a while, and yet he seemed to show no respect for her.

But considering Rocky's temperament, she realized that to him, everyone except Ian was merely a servant.

Judith's hand, hanging by her side, clenched into a tight fist. She couldn’t lose her composure just yet. They were all going to be spending a few days together in that villa. There would be plenty of opportunities to strike back at them later.

As Maja led Rocky past the group of people, she noticed their strange looks. Probably because Judith had just mentioned her family background and they were reminded of the eccentric Clara and Drew. It was humiliating for them to be in the same circle as the daughter of such people.

Maja didn't pay them any mind, simply walking over to Ryan.

Ryan looked past her at Judith, who was still trying to strike up a conversation with Ian and rolled his eyes.

"I shouldn't have asked you to walk the dog. She's already trying to take advantage of your absence."

"It's fine."

Maja, leash in hand, followed Ryan down the path.

Meanwhile, Ian, left behind, continued to unload the luggage.

Judith quickly stepped forward and wanted to lend a hand,

"Let me help you."

Ian's eyebrows furrowed, about to refuse, when Judith called out,

"Wind, come over here and help."

So, the man who had been watching from a distance also came over.

Ian had intended that trip to be a getaway for Maja, without any other company.

Unable to refuse, he decided not to bother arguing anymore.
