Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 1063

Ian could no longer hold his temper, grabbing Tyler by the collar.

Tyler sounded helpless.

"When you guys weren't here, we all drew lots for the rooms. These were the only two left. Do you really think I did this on purpose? Besides, you can have Maja bunk with you."

Ian was taken aback, having completely forgotten about that option in his frustration.

Releasing Tyler, he didn't suggest Maja share with him, instead, he moved to share a room with her to keep a distance from Judith.

Fresh out of the shower, Maja saw Ian busily packing up gear for the next day’s venture into the mountains.

Their so-called retreat wasn't confined to that villa. The villa was merely their place of amusement and rest. Come dawn, they would be heading uphill.

The backpacks were filled with essentials Ian had prepared based on his past experiences. That could be considered as their first date since they got back together.

Maja sprawled out on the bed, flipping onto her side to watch him meticulously check the contents of both bags, she couldn't resist asking, "You used to go hiking a lot?"

"Once every six months, being close to nature always lifts my spirits. This time, I'll have Rocky accompany you. He can help keep the bugs away at night."

Maja found it amusing, looking at his serious profile brought warmth to her heart.

After checking the contents of both bags, he placed them on the nearby sofa and instructed,

"Maja, you carry the lighter one tomorrow, I'll take the heavier one."

Maja nodded in agreement.

Noticing her lying on the bed, half of her shoulder exposed, Ian strode over, gently lifting her into his arms.

Maja instinctively wrapped her legs around his waist.

Hardly a minute into their kiss, Ryan knocked on the door from outside.

"Cuz, everyone's waiting for you to start the meeting. After that, we're all grilling some BBQ. Don't hit the hay too early."

It was just before eight.
