Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 1067

Maja was too engrossed in savoring her food to pay any heed to the drama unfolding around her.

On the other hand, Ian was propped on one hand, grinning at her, apparently finding delight in watching her eat.

Maja had polished off half of her food when Ian stopped her with a gentle nudge of his finger.

"Cold food, go easy on it. You don't want a stomach ache."

Reluctantly, she put it down.

With an air of nonchalance, Ian reached for a nearby napkin, took her hand, and started wiping her fingers, treating them like delicate pieces of art.

He was so engrossed that he failed to notice curious eyes on him. Equally engrossed in watching him, Maja was oblivious to the hushed whispers around them.

It was only after a long pause that Ryan broke the silence.

"Cousin, Tyler told me Fitch called you, but you didn't answer. He asked you to return his call."

Ian had missed the conversation as he was still attending to Maja's hands, but Ryan's words directed everyone's attention towards them.

Surprise, jealousy, and disbelief were etched on their faces.

Ian pampering Maja just because she had eaten a crab had left everyone flabbergasted. What spell had Maja cast on him?

Judith, grinding her teeth in anger, felt her blood boiling.

Her proclaimed affection for Ian was being trampled upon by Ian's overt affection for Maja in front of everyone, an affront to her status as the Sanders family's princess!

"Can't she wipe her own hands? She's not a child!" she spat.

Her words broke the silence.

Ian neatly folded the used napkin and tossed it into a nearby trash can, retorting, "None of your business."

His blunt reply left Judith momentarily speechless.

Dylan decided to step in.

"Mr. Raymond, my sister didn't mean to offend. I heard the Raymond Corporation is expanding into the film industry. Our families are likely to collaborate in the future."
