Wind found himself at a loss for words, a beaming smile from her right in front of him, her hair scent teasing his nostrils.
He was about to lose himself in her charm when she said, "I can't wait any longer, Wind. Use this hiking trip as an opportunity to take out Maja."
The coldness on Judith's face became more pronounced, her lips curling into a smile as she gently cradled his face in her hands.
"You said you'd be my blade."
Taking out Maja during the hike meant risking being discovered by Ian at any time.
A slight suspicion from Ian, and he would know who was behind it.
Then, Wind would be in the line of fire.
Judith was asking him to risk his life to take Maja's.
"Can you do it, Wind?"
Wind lowered his gaze, his braided ponytail resting on his shoulder. He looked up at her.
"Miss, I am willing."
"Good. Watch Maja closely tomorrow night. The moment she leaves Ian's sight, strike. Make sure she dies, Wind. You know, I'm tired of playing this game with her. Otherwise, my condition might get worse. You don't want anything happening to me, right?"
A shadow of loneliness crossed Wind's eyes, the corner of his mouth twitching slightly.
"Miss, you don't need to explain so much to me. Just give me the order, and I will do it, no matter the reason."
Judith's face was instantly lit up with a smile. She handed her glass of red wine to a servant standing by, asking her to serve the four gentlemen playing poker inside.
Ian, already a bit impatient because Maja wasn't there, had lost several rounds of money. He downed the wine in one gulp.
When Judith walked in, she saw him slightly raising his neck.
Ian was the most attractive man she had ever met, and even this minor action could set hearts racing.
Her heart pounded violently in her chest, the heat intensifying.
She knew Ian wouldn't want to stay here for long. With a smile, she linked arms with Dylan.
"Brother, I'm going to rest now. Oh by the way, since there's no one in the room next to mine, they've arranged for you to stay there. Make sure you wake me up in the morning, okay?"
A smile lit up Dylan's eyes as he pinched her cheek.
"Go on."
Tyler, witnessing this, couldn't help but comment.
"Mr. Sanders sure treats your sister well."

Is author playing with our emotions?...
Why are there no updates yet, Author. We've all been waitibg for quite a while now. Please, update soon, Author. Thanks....
Author, my thoughts on the book. When are You going to write on Cornelia and Omar Casson's romance? You made no mention, describing in detail how Maja and Uan's white wedding ceremony went. Also, you didn't write on Carol's baby delivery. What about Tyler's romance. Is there closure on Phelps Herrington being truly certified dead, so also his twin brother? Dylan's research institute "little girl", what became of her and Dylan's romance? Beck's blind dates, what were the results, is he married now, so also Dylan to his "little girl"? Why hasn't Ian's father- Steven come forward to meet Maja's parents as the in-laws meeting each other especially with his supposed past with Lillian; Maja's mother. I hope I won't remain curious for too long on the aforementioned issues, Author. Thanks for doing a good job on Zoey and Fitch's romance, though. Kudos....
