Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 1077

The commotion had attracted the attention of Ian from afar. He took off his gloves, thinking that Maja was being picked on, and strode over.

"What's going on?"

None of the others knew how to explain.

Only Maja, nonchalantly munching on an apple, and said casually, "She claimed that she felt you have been wronged, so she cried."

A look of confusion crossed Ian's face, then quickly morphed into something indescribable.

"Is she okay?"

Maja nearly spat out the apple in her mouth, swallowing hard and washing it down with a gulp of water.

Judith stiffened, stammering in response.

"It's just that Ms. Pennyfeather said something that upset me."

"What did she say?"

"She called me the other woman and said I was trying to steal her place."

"Aren't you?"

Ian felt a sense of absurdity. He picked up his gloves from the side and put them back on, looking at Maja.

"Stay away from her, I'm afraid you might catch her craziness."

Maja managed to hold back her laughter in front of the crowd.

The faces of the others were filled with discomfort, and Judith was flushed with humiliation.

Dylan looked at Ian with a heavy gaze, but he was already on his way to set up the tent.

He didn't want to argue with Ian, and it wasn't gentleman. So, he decided to console Judith.

"When we get back to the city, I'll talk to him."

He and Wind helped Judith to sit down. Her eyes, red from crying, were focused on Maja.

The calmer Maja appeared, the more pathetic she seemed.

Maja didn't have to do anything, as Ian was completely on her side now.

Damn it!

The damn homewrecker!

She screamed internally, turning her attention to Wind.

Tonight would be the time for Wind to act.

Her fiery gaze clarified what she wanted, so Wind nodded, promising to finish the job.

Judith breathed a sigh of relief, her hands clenched into fists at her side.

Just a little longer, she wouldn't have to see Maja tomorrow.

She took a deep breath and turned to the others who were concerned for her, forcing a pale smile.
