Fitch paused for a moment before he softly said, "Eric doesn't strike me as a superficial guy."
Superficial enough to quote a line of poetry, a line that contained the name of the woman he liked. So brazen, without any disguise.
Ian cast his gaze downwards, his fists clenched tight.
"Liking is superficial in itself. If it truly is Maja, wouldn't everything make sense then? We've never suspected her, always investigating in the wrong direction. Hence, there's been no progress till now."
"But Ian, if Maja is indeed that woman, her presence around you suggests ulterior motives. She knew we were looking for Eric but never once mentioned that she was the woman Eric was fond of. With Grandpa Holden following Eric this time and Maja conveniently disappearing, could the group at the cliff be Eric's people?"
This suggested that it was a conspiracy between Eric and Maja that led to Holden's death.
The truth was shocking, as the one who died was the senior Ian cared most about. The one who deceived him was his own brother and the woman he loved.
He dared not dwell on it.
Ian's lips were pursed, and he suddenly remembered something. He strode upstairs.

He didn't know the passcode, so he entered Maja's birthday.

Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
