The man left the room and moved to another, where a group of people were already waiting for him. It was clear that he was the one in charge.
"Mr. K, the three factions are closing in fast. We won't be able to hold out much longer."
They had been pushing their limits to last for two weeks.
The man gently set his cup of coffee down, tapping on the lid with his fingertips.
"Then let Eric know. If he doesn't take this opportunity to kill Ian, he won't control that body ever again."
The others in the room didn't understand what he meant by controlling the body, but the man merely chuckled, an inscrutable look in his eyes.
"Tell him exactly that. And make sure to give this to Eric."
He handed over a bracelet, one that Holden had given to Maja years ago, though she had never worn it. However, during the brief period when she got along with Ian, she had worn the bracelet and told him it was a gift from Grandpa Holden.
Now, the man was giving this bracelet to Eric. Was he hoping that Eric would use it to his advantage?
The man could then stay behind the scenes, doing nothing while watching everyone else tear each other apart.
The bracelet was soon taken away.
Looking into the distance, the man had a faint smile on his face.
Patrick received the box while he was dealing with company affairs at the top floor of the Raymond Corporation.
The receptionist delivered the box and reminded him, "Mr. Raymond, the courier said it's something from Ms. Pennyfeather."
Patrick was surprised and immediately opened the box to find the bracelet inside. He had seen it on Maja's wrist before. It must have been sent by whoever took Maja.
Patrick narrowed his eyes and smirked.
Then, he received a text on his phone.
[Mr. Raymond, you should take this opportunity to fully claim the body.]
His gaze turned icy cold.
He looked towards the CEO's office of the Raymond Corporation, a fleeting shadow crossing his eyes.
Who could be the mastermind behind all this, someone who knew more than anyone else?
But for now, what mattered most was how to use this bracelet.

Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
When will the author update to finish Beck's story? What about Dylan and Tyler's love lives? Also, I'll like the author to write on Wilma and Elvis ending up together as she was quite persistent in pursuing him. And Shawn's story, Cornelia Sullivan and Omar Casson.
