Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 1246

Maja was shoved into the car, too weak to resist, the bitter taste in her mouth still lingering.

The man noticed her face was calm, stubborn, and ready to face death.

If he had been a few minutes late, she would have been gone for good.

But she didn't show any fear.

She even deliberately avoided him.

Just thinking about it made him seethe with anger, he felt his chest about to explode. In all his years, no one had ever dared to enrage him like this.

"Maja, I'm going to hand you over to Patric now. He'll use you to negotiate with Ian. I want you to witness how Ian gets abandoned by the business world. You're not afraid of losing your life, but you must be scared of him falling from grace, right?"

To kill a person, one must strike at the heart.

Maja was not afraid of death, and threatening her with her life would not bother her.

But threatening her with Ian, she would quickly give in.

Just as he thought, the woman who was determined just a moment ago was now panicked.

"Don't."

"Too late."

He pulled out his cell phone and immediately contacted Patric.

He even put it on speaker so that Maja could hear his conversation with Patric.

This number was unfamiliar to Patric, he didn't know who was calling, but the man on the other end was straight to the point.

"I'm bringing Maja to your villa. Use her to deal with Ian. I want Ian to no longer be the CEO of the Raymond Corporation, no longer the heir of the Raymond family. I want him to never be able to hold his head high again."

Patric raised an eyebrow, laughing lightly. "What a coincidence. That's exactly what I want to do. I'll be waiting for you."

He didn't ask who the other person was, as long as their goals aligned.

"Please, I beg you. Don't do this."

Maja's voice was hoarse, so hoarse that she could barely speak.

The man grabbed her chin tightly, his eyes filled with bottomless cruelty.

"You brought this on yourself. I was planning to take it slow, Maja. But you, even blind, still managed to piss me off. You're quite something."

The last bit of color drained from Maja's face, especially as she felt the car getting closer and closer to where Patric lived.

She was on the brink of collapse. Even as she tried to remain calm, the sight of those people's attitudes towards Ian that night, knowing Ian's predicament, brought silent tears streaming down her face.

She was too weak, she couldn't do anything.
