He immediately drove to the Raymond Corporation, only to be informed that Ian had left just ten minutes ago and was currently attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new subsidiary.
Dylan frantically drove in that direction, but upon arriving, Ian was still nowhere to be found.
He knew he was being played, and his eyes darkened with anger.
Then, another text from Ian arrived.
[The victor gets to spend the night with Judith. I've broadcasted this message all across North America, and the stakes have already exceeded three billion dollars. The contender is a man known as the Boxing King, a hulk of a man. You know his physique. If Judith falls into his hands, she probably won't last two days.]
The Boxing King lived up to his name, almost eight feet tall, he stood like a mountain.
Judith was such a delicate woman, if she were to truly fall into his hands, she wouldn't last a night.
Dylan sat in his seat, quickly booking a flight to North America. He couldn't care about Ian's takeover at this moment.
All he wanted was to rush back and stop everything.
Dylan's heart was racing. Who had given Ian such audacity? Had he gone mad? This was tantamount to completely offending the Sanders family.
The underground fight club was powerful, but if the Sanders family really fought him to the death, nobody would benefit.
His heart pounding, he dialed Ian's number.
The call was answered, and the voice on the other end was cold and distant.
"What can I do for you, Mr. Sanders?"
"Ian, do you realize the consequences of what you're doing?"
Ian sat with others, Jolin in his arms, a lit cigarette between his fingers. He chuckled.
"Mr. Sanders, if I cared about the consequences, I wouldn't have done it. Do you think I don't know about your cooperation with Eric? He's my brother, and I give him some respect. But who do you think you are?"
For the first time, Dylan encountered such a lunatic. His breath quivered.
"Is this about Maja? Don't forget, Maja has left you. Do you think by doing this, she'll be grateful? She won't, she'll just think you're ridiculous. By making an enemy out of the Sanders family, you'll be hunted all across North America. If you let Judith go now, I'll pretend none of this happened."
"Mr. Sanders, if you're trying to persuade me, don't bother."
Ian hung up.
Dylan stared at his phone in disbelief, quickly realizing Ian was serious this time. He didn't care about anything.
Dylan quickly called the Sanders family, but to no avail.
As long as he was still in Greenfield, all of his actions could be monitored by Ian.

The readers' comments on the novel: Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja)
Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
When will the author update to finish Beck's story? What about Dylan and Tyler's love lives? Also, I'll like the author to write on Wilma and Elvis ending up together as she was quite persistent in pursuing him. And Shawn's story, Cornelia Sullivan and Omar Casson. Also, a little write-up on Jeff (Ian's assistant) love life, too. Thanks, author for updating....
When will get update?...
What is wrong that the author has not updated this novel in over a month or is there somewhere else that I can continue reading the novel from chapter 1951 upwards? Do tell, please. Thanks....
