Nightfall.
Lately, due to Ian's relentless acquisition of other companies, everyone was on edge.
However, these last couple of days, Ian had suddenly put a halt to his actions, and the atmosphere relaxed slightly.
Everyone was left wondering. Where in the world had Ian gone?
Inside the villa.
It was already 1 am, and Maja, trying to fend off the persistent advances of a certain individual, tapped her fingertips on his palm.
"We'll get caught."
Patric was a man with sharp senses. Just because he hadn't found out last night didn't mean he wouldn't tonight. Besides, Maja had a hunch that Patric was hiding something.
Ian's lips were close to her ear.
"We won't. I'll be gentle."
He promised to be gentle, but ever since eleven o'clock, his actions were the opposite.
Maja bit down on his shoulder, causing him to hiss in pain.
Suddenly, the room's door was knocked on harshly. Patric was outside, asking.
"Maja, are you still awake?"
Maja's heart nearly leaped out of her chest. She quickly pushed Ian away, signaling for him to leave, but he didn't budge, instead pulling her closer into his embrace.
"Just don't say anything."
Sweat trickled down her forehead, and he tenderly wiped it away, planting a quick kiss before resuming his movements.
Maja was truly amazed by this man's audacity. Patric was right outside, yet he still had the nerve to continue.
Patric stood by the door, questioning the two onlookers.
"Did she take her medication tonight?"
They both nodded.
The medicine contained a sleeping aid, she should be asleep by now.
Satisfied, he decided not to disturb them further.
Inside the room, Ian had finally stopped, his forehead resting against hers as he took deep breaths.

Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
When will the author update to finish Beck's story? What about Dylan and Tyler's love lives? Also, I'll like the author to write on Wilma and Elvis ending up together as she was quite persistent in pursuing him. And Shawn's story, Cornelia Sullivan and Omar Casson. Also, a little write-up on Jeff (Ian's assistant) love life, too. Thanks, author for updating....
