As Ian held Maja close, she began to stir in his arms, nestled in the backseat of Beck's car. Beck drove with cautious precision, his eyes misting up with unshed tears.
Glancing at the rearview mirror, he saw Maja's slight figure curled up against Ian.
A soft cough broke the silence.
"Maja, you awake?" Ian's voice was a mix of concern and relief as he gently patted her back.
Maja's eyes fluttered open, her vision blurred and her senses engulfed in an icy dread that seemed to snake around her heart. But Ian's warmth slowly seeped back into her, banishing the cold.
"Ian." Her voice was a mere whisper, laced with a longing to melt into his embrace.
Ian felt a sharp pain in his chest, berating himself for letting her down once again. "It's okay, Maja. You're safe now," he assured her, though the tremor in his voice betrayed his fear.
Maja nodded, too exhausted to speak. She was taken to the hospital for a check-up, where the doctor, after a glance at the medical report, delivered an unexpected bombshell.
"There's nothing major to worry about, but Miss, you need to take care of yourself. You're pregnant."
The news hit Ian and Maja like a freight train. Shock. Disbelief.
It took Maja a few seconds to process the information. Her mind felt jammed. "Doctor, are you sure? We've been careful."
The doctor adjusted his glasses, "I'm certain. Have you engaged in any unprotected activities?"

Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
When will the author update to finish Beck's story? What about Dylan and Tyler's love lives? Also, I'll like the author to write on Wilma and Elvis ending up together as she was quite persistent in pursuing him. And Shawn's story, Cornelia Sullivan and Omar Casson.
