Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 1551
Maja couldn't help but feel the encounter with the woman was too coincidental, and yet when they were both caught up in a foreign land's black market, the woman showed no sign of panic.
But what Maja chose to believe was the genuine emotion in the woman's eyes when she spoke of finding her brother. That kind of feeling couldn't be faked; perhaps she truly was here to look for someone.
Later, as they entered the hotel together and caught sight of each other's faces, the woman showed no surprise, confirming she didn't recognize Maja.
Maja sipped the broth from the bowl before her.
"She must be here to find someone," she mused.
Ian reached out, affectionately ruffling her hair. He knew Maja well; she appeared aloof but was tender-hearted and struggled to be harsh to anyone. Her strong sense of responsibility was both a blessing and a curse.
Anyway, he wouldn't force her to change.
After finishing her soup, Maja brushed her teeth.
When she emerged from the bathroom, Ian set aside his laptop and began to dry her hair, a moment of intimacy they hadn't shared in a long time. Maja leaned against his chest, the warm air lulling her towards sleep.
Ian's fingers weaved through her hair, and seeing her exhaustion, he gently massaged her scalp until she drifted off. He tucked her in carefully before the phone rang.
"Sir, do we need to come to your hotel?" his man on the other end asked.
"Yeah, come over. I'll go downstairs to book rooms for you guys. There's a whole crowd coming soon."
"Got it."

Author, my thoughts on the book. When are You going to write on Cornelia and Omar Casson's romance? You made no mention, describing in detail how Maja and Uan's white wedding ceremony went. Also, you didn't write on Carol's baby delivery. What about Tyler's romance. Is there closure on Phelps Herrington being truly certified dead, so also his twin brother? Dylan's research institute "little girl", what became of her and Dylan's romance? Beck's blind dates, what were the results, is he married now, so also Dylan to his "little girl"? Why hasn't Ian's father- Steven come forward to meet Maja's parents as the in-laws meeting each other especially with his supposed past with Lillian; Maja's mother. I hope I won't remain curious for too long on the aforementioned issues, Author. Thanks for doing a good job on Zoey and Fitch's romance, though. Kudos....
