A week had passed and there was still no sign of Ian.
Maja, pregnant and weighed down by the epidemic plaguing the land, had finally been persuaded to return to North America, her spirit in tatters.
Yet, some remained, steadfast in their search for Ian, reporting every new body unearthed each day.
When Maja arrived back at the Sanders family residence, she felt as though she was floating, her steps devoid of solidity.
Meanwhile, Sarah had barely set foot in the place before she was whisked away to concoct an antidote for Augus.
The first time she laid eyes on Augus, something flickered in her memory. As she surveyed the room, deep-seated recollections slowly surfaced from the depths of time.
Beck, pacing anxiously beside her, broke the silence.
"Doctor, do you know how to whip up this antidote?"
"I do."
Her response was level, almost detached as she listed the necessary ingredients, "Get these ready. Give me three days, and I'll have the antidote brewed."
"Fantastic!" Beck's eyes sparkled with hope, and he immediately set about gathering the materials.
Sarah didn't linger. Once the antidote was ready, she administered it to Augus. But that very afternoon, news came from Forbidden Island: Cynthia was dead - an inexplicable, sudden death.
Beck was shocked, frantically seeking answers about what had happened.
"Mr. Sanders, we've no clue ourselves. No one was with her. Everything was just as it had been the day before, but she collapsed out of nowhere."
Confusion reigned in Beck's mind as he prepared to venture to Forbidden Island. Maja, upon hearing the news, insisted on joining him. Beck worried for her; she'd always cared deeply for Cynthia and had come so far in hopes of finding her.

Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
When will the author update to finish Beck's story? What about Dylan and Tyler's love lives? Also, I'll like the author to write on Wilma and Elvis ending up together as she was quite persistent in pursuing him. And Shawn's story, Cornelia Sullivan and Omar Casson. Also, a little write-up on Jeff (Ian's assistant) love life, too. Thanks, author for updating....
