The car slowly drove off. 

Jeff, sitting in the car, was the one who could most directly feel lan’s mood swings. 

The frosty atmosphere had gradually dissipated.

Maja stood there without refuting a single word.

After scolding her a few times, she left with a cold snort. 

As soon as she left, Maria came out from the side, sighing for a while. 

“Ms. Pennyfeather, should I tell my father? Selena’s constant behavior must be making you uncomfortable.” 

“Maria, there’s no need.” 

She didn’t actually want to stay in the Raymond family, so she didn’t feel uncomfortable. 

When she got back upstairs, Maja thought her day was over. But in the evening, Neil called. 

Her instinct was to not answer, but she had to because of her father’s illness.
