Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja) novel Chapter 214

Chapter 214

“Maja, come on, get in the car. I can’t wrap my head around why you’re sitting here?

Maja didn’t feel like arguing with him, knowing it would be a waste of breath

She got up and got in the car, and Neil quickly apologized.

“About what happened last night, I admit it was my fault. I didn’t expect Silver to pull such a stunt.”

Maja’s lips twitched slightly, “Is that all? Don’t you think you owe me an apology for what Cristina said?”

A look of discomfort crossed Nell’s face.

“Cristina just passed out. The doctor said it’s because she’s too anxious. You two never got along, and her apologizing to you might just make her more upset.”

Maja closed her eyes, saying nothing.

Neil knew Cristina had crossed a line, so he pulled out a bank card from his bag.

“There’s a million bucks in this card. Feel free to spend it, no need to tighten the belt for the family”

Maja didn’t take it, as if she didn’t hear him.

Neil felt a bit awkward. He had apologized, what more did she want?

Did she really expect Cristina to come and apologize?

“Maja, you can be so damn stubborn sometimes.”

At this point, Maja opened her eyes and glanced out the window.

“Pull over. I just remembered that my car’s still outside, I’ll need to drive it back later. I’m heading to Crystalbrook Valley tomorrow.” “Why are you going back to Crystalbrook Valley? To see your uncle again? Haven’t I told you to keep your distance from them?”

Neil was trembling with anger and took back his bank card

“You’re always against me. I guess you don’t want this money then”

The car had already stopped. Without a word, Maja got out and closed the door.

“Maja!”

Neil called out, then coughed a few times.

Hearing his cough, Maja paused, finally softening her tone.

“I’m just going to work. Take care of yourself, Dad

With that, she strode towards her car.

She was exhausted.

She barely managed to drive back to RosenGarden, but seeing the garbage piled up at the door and the ink splashed on it, her face darkened.

It was obviously that woman’s doing. All to make her reveal Leo Elston’s whereabouts

She couldn’t believe that woman had gone to the police, but still wouldn’t leave her alone.

it was terrifying dealing with people like that. What she did might not be illegal, but it was morally unacceptable.

But a woman who betrays her husband and seduces married men, what morals does she have?

All she could do was avoid that woman as much as possible.

Maja couldn’t take it anymore and decided to sell her house online.

Rita and that woman were driving her nuts. If she stayed here, she wouldn’t find peace.

But she couldn’t sell the house in a short time. Out of options, she had to go back to Rosewood Manor

She slept until seven in the evening when Maria knocked on her door

“Ms. Pennyfeather, it’s time for dinner”

Maja was indeed hungry, but just as she opened the door, she heard voices from the living room downstairs.

Maria’s eyes lit up, a smile tugged at her lips.

“It must be Mr. Raymond,”

As she finished speaking, not only lan’s voice came from downstairs, but also Holden’s
