Tyler was a joker, but lan, standing right beside him, was always as serious as a judge. Tyler noticed his lack of response and followed his gaze to the crowd lining up for ticket check, nudging lan with an elbow, “Check out the back of that girl there, so graceful. She’s miles better than that designer.” 

Maja was indeed stunning from the back. No, she was stunning all over. Her figure was superior, with shoulder blades, and back dimples, everything about her was smooth and elegant. The diamond necklace added bonus pointed to her beauty. 

Tyler didn’t recognize her, but lan did with only one glance. Each time he held her close, his hands would be placed right on her back dimples. He would always kiss her protruding shoulder blades, as if cast under a spell. How could he possibly forget a body he had seen so many times? 

Tyler walked straight up to her, about to call out “pretty lady“, only to see Maja tum around. He was totally surprised, and then he froze, “Penny?” 

Maja nodded politely, saying, “Hi, Mr. Raymond, Tyler.” 

The day she broke up with lan, her neck was covered in marks, and the most private parts of her were no exception. A month later, all those marks had disappeared. lan looked at her, his throat tightening. 

Tyler was also checking her out, then couldn’t help asking. “Who got you dressed like this?” 

That outfit was just too attractive. With that necklace around her chest; any man would want to claim her as his own. 

Maja gracefully smiled at them, “I hired a stylist. Mr. Raymond, Tyler, I’ll go ahead.” 

The invitation to the cruise ship came with a room number. The ship had seven levels, each offering different food and wine. The hall was spacious, with a band playing the violin. 

Maja left, but lan was still looking at the direction she took off, lost in his thoughts. All he could think about was the kiss he gave her that night in the hospital. He lowered his eyelids, feeling every cell in his body stirring up. 

Tyler sighed, “I got to say, lan, I used to think your taste was just okay, but now I see you do have an eye for beauty. This designer is like a hidden gem, I bet she’s going to have lots of pursuers after tonight.” 

lan had no interest in such talk and walked straight in. 

He was wearing a dark suit, heading for the first–floor hall. As he entered, everyone around him glanced at him, wanting to approach him yet dared not to. lan’s interviews from overseas had been dug out, and no one knew exactly how many assets he possessed overseas, plus, he was now in charge of the Raymond Corporation, if anyone somehow pissed him off, bankruptcy would be the least of their worries. 

tan looked around but didn’t see Maja. He was about to take the spiral staircase when someone called his name, a business associate. 

The Raymond Corporation was known for diversified management, owning many luxury brands. Therefore, when lan started attending social events, he was always busy as a bee.
