Dennis put down his cup. He was refined and polite, a stark contrast to Carl’s scheming demeanor. 

“So lan didn’t kill Carl?” 

It was unexpected. He thought Carl and his family would be wiped out by lan tonight. 

“He’s still alive, but apparently he was so scared he pissed his pants. Now he’s gone to Holden for help.”

Carl was the epitome of stupidity. The moment he went to Holden, Holden would find out about the dirty deeds he’d been doing behind his back. 

Besides, Holden admired lan’s wild spirit. If no one could control him, the Raymond family might be wiped out. 

That man knew nothing about family bonds. He was only pretending to be a gentleman because Holden was still around.
