Maja didn’t get his drift, so she trudged over. 

“Fitch told me you’re married?” 

All of lan’s pals knew he had called it quits with his wife, but they had no clue Maja was his ex. So in Fitch’s eyes, Penny was still a married lady. “I’m divorced.” 

lan raised an eyebrow, “Why’d you split?” 

“Mr. Raymond, that’s none of your beeswax. I really need to hit the road.” 

As she finished her sentence, her gaze landed on something about lan that made her cringe.
