After Jeff finished his spiel, the car conveniently came to a stop at the gate of the Raymond Villa. 

Tan got out of the car and went straight to the top floor, finally meeting Pearson. 

Pearson didn’t exactly have the Raymond family’s signature looks. He was above average, not particularly striking, but his eyes held the same sharpness as Dennis’s. They seemed calm but were actually razor–sharp 

In some ways, this father and son were very much alike. 

Pearson was the first to say hello. “Cuz, long time no see. How’s it going?” 

The day he joined the Raymond family, he didn’t pay a visit to lan. His position wasn’t that significant, so he didn’t need lan to get involved. 

After Eric passed away, everyone assumed that the finance educated cousin would inherit the position.

However, the risk of this project has exceeded our maximum tolerance. Most importantly, they want to sign a risk investment agreement. After all, the EcoTraverse Group had never chosen to cooperate with other companies on such a large scale. This time, they were probably seeking a significant collaboration. 

“Boss, the offer is indeed tempting, but if we fail, Dennis might take the chance to attack you again.” 

lan was already being punished for his marriage issue, and Dennis had seized the opportunity. If this risk investment failed, the Raymond family elders might transfer their shares to Dennis, bringing his total to 45%. 

With just a bit more buying up, lan would lose all control.
