When Jeff wheeled lan Raymond off, he didn't dare ask a single question along the way.
It wasn't until they got to the parking lot that he opened the car door, originally intending to ask whether they were heading back to Rosewood Manor or Greenfield Gardens, but he noticed lan was deep in thought, with his head bowed down.
Perhaps it was too dark, but he spotted a droplet on lan's shirt that resembled a tear.
"Boss, are we heading back to Greenfield Gardens?" he asked.
lan nodded.
There was a rack by the car specifically designed to hoist the wheelchair up.
Jeff got into the driver's seat.
When lan left the hospital, he had already handled his discharge procedures, informing the doctors he would be recuperating at home with a professional doctor on call. The hospital didn't comment further, only reminding him to strictly follow his medical advice.
Back at Rosewood Manor, lan suddenly posed a question.
"Look into why Maja rammed her car into the gates of Greenfield Gardens."
Jeff had always thought lan would cut ties with Maja completely, yet he seemed to still care about her.
He quickly nodded.
lan took the elevator to the second floor.
He needed a shower, but he didn't like to be touched by neither men nor women, he couldn't bear anyone helping him clean his body.
Unless it was Maja.
But obviously, Maja wasn't going to come now.
He had no choice but to go into the bathroom and slowly stand up by leaning on the vanity.
His physical condition was far from ideal, after that one round, he felt a bit weak, even a bit dizzy.
The doctor had mentioned that his head injury was quite serious.
lan took a glance at himself in the mirror.

Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
