Devil's vow novel Chapter 13

Hearing her was like someone had hit him with ice cold water.

She had gone home just an hour ago with her traitor cousin and what remained behind was his intense rage.

He was punching the leather bag with all his might when he recalled what he saw- a large bruising mark was coating her skin across the stomach. It infuriated him to the core and it shouldn't.

He was here to destroy his enemies not for taking care of a girl. He should get away from her as soon as possible, she was trouble- a beautiful one.

He recalled the touch of her fingers. The soft Rosy hue on her cheeks. That creamy texture of hair, he closed his eyes taking a deep breath. They were darkened when they came into view again.

It was not his job to save her from the drug dealer but how could he not when the thought of her hurting made him livid. He didn't knew what has possessed him but he wanted his death without any mercy.

"Little treasure you are in a hell of trouble, just get out of my fucking mind." His senses were in chaos, she was his to hurt and hearing her agony, he was afraid to say- it made him want to kill any person painfully ,oh so very painfully.

"Sir, her uncle is back in Storm palace" as the words left Tyler's mouth the punching bag was slammed so hard, it tore off from the middle.

Treachery ran in his veins. Thousands of people live in the faint hope of redemption for the sins they have committed, sometimes to achieve ultimate salvation.

Valace Storm had a way of achieving things, he didn't care if they are devastated by the time he had them, but if he wanted something, it will be his.

Days have passed and it was going to be a week from the time Alaina had returned home.

Utter silence- on the oncoming of his niece all healthy and almighty, the same pride in her eyes as before, but something has changed, the fire in those orbs was burning furiously, more than before.

The look on her face was enough to quite everyone down. A Storm was coming and this silence was just before it's onset.

He didn't feared her but when he saw the look in his daughter eyes it made him grit his teeth- disgust, she was disgusted with his mere presence. He didn't cared if Alaina lived, he truly wanted her dead but his daughter was someone he loved no matter how twisted it was.
