Angela frowned. After a busy day, she had completely forgotten about it.
"Give me five minutes."
She packed quickly and arrived at Kenneth's car precisely five minutes later.
Angela had just pulled the car door open and sat in when she noticed Kenneth's somewhat disgusted gaze.
"What's wrong?"
"Are you going to wear this to the banquet today?"
Angela glanced down at her outfit for the day. A halter dress with a suit jacket, it was a normal outfit.
"Can't I go to the banquet in this outfit?"
Kenneth pressed his lips in silence for a few seconds before saying, "Tom, go to the mall."
Angela frowned, "Mr. Sinclair, we're just going to a banquet. We don't have to be so high profile, do we?"
"You're the main character of the banquet today. Of course you're going to be the prettiest one!"
Seeing the firmness in Kenneth's eyes, Angela knew exactly that he would insist even if she refused and simply stopped talking.
Half an hour later, Kevin pushed Kenneth into the mall with Angela.
Even though Kenneth could only rely on a wheelchair now, his face still attracted the attention of many girls, and some even wanted his contact information. However, when they touched Kenneth's freezing gaze, they dared not come over.
He was pretty but just too mean.
"Mr. Sinclair, where are we going?"
"Go to the Jovelle Fashion."
Angela was a little speechless, saying, "Why don't we go to another one?"
"Jovelle Fashion's gowns suit you better."
Looking at Kenneth's calm demeanor, Angela couldn't help but say, "It looks like you often pick out gowns for girls. Otherwise, how would you know which gown suits me?"
Kenneth glanced at her. "Are you jealous?"
"How could I? Mr. Sinclair, please rest assured. I've kept your earlier words that I shouldn't ask for too much in mind."
Kenneth's expression became extremely bad all of a sudden. They reached the door of Jovelle Fashion in silence.
Nicole walked out and was surprised to see Angela.
Angela winked at her quickly. She understood instantly and smiled, "Mr. Sinclair, Ms. Lewis, please come in."
Seeing that Kenneth didn't seem to have been here before, Angela looked at him and said, "Mr. Sinclair, you haven't been here before?"
Kenneth said with indifference, "Uh-huh."
Angela thought, 'Then how could he know that Jovelle Fashion's gowns fit me?'
Seeing Angela's confusion, Kevin smiled, "Ms. Lewis, Jovelle Fashion had a clothing show in Lithoria before. Mr. Sinclair went to see it, so he thought that Jovelle Fashion's gowns would suit you."
"Oh, I see."
Nicole smiled and started to introduce Kenneth seriously to the gowns in the store, complimenting the designer, Elia. Angela was a little embarrassed to hear it from the side.
Even though Kenneth didn't know she was Elia, she was a little embarrassed to hear Nicole praise her endlessly.
"Try these on her."
"Okay, Mr. Sinclair."
Nicole took down all the gowns that had just been introduced to them and smiled, "Ms. Lewis, these gowns are somewhat hard to wear. Let me help you in the fitting room."
Angela nodded. "Okay."
After the two entered the fitting room, Nicole whispered, "Boss, what's your relationship with Mr. Sinclair? Doesn't Mr. Sinclair know who you really are?"
"Well, don't be surprised if I tell you."
Nicole and Angela were friends. Angela didn't want to hide it from Nicole when she asked now. Her relationship with Kenneth was already sort of semi-public anyway.
"Don't worry. I won't be surprised unless you tell me he's your husband."
"You are right. He is indeed my husband."
