The moment Robert finished speaking, Elizabeth's face turned ghastly.

Badly panicked, she tried hard to avoid him. "No. Please don't. I will keep it a secret. Just let me go..."

Damned! How come Marvin's face popped up in her mind at such a moment?

Wasn't he a pervert? Why did it happen?

Elizabeth bit her lips and said word by word, "How dare you? You must have heard of Marvin Bennett, the infamous boss in the underworld. I'm his sister. If you dared to mess with me, Marvin would surely slay you!" Elizabeth roared while fixing her gaze on him, not daring to show weakness.

Robert's expression did change slightly when he heard Marvin's name. He surveyed her shocked face and twitched his mouth, his tone somewhat wicked. "Marvin's sister? You... are the poor girl in the Bennett family, right?"

Elizabeth turned more uneasy seeing Robert's calmness.

Though badly frightened, Elizabeth kept pretending to be composed. A smile flashed across Robert's lips.

He clutched her chin. Elizabeth couldn't help but frown at the smell of tobacco on his fingers. Robert leaned closer to lock her in his arms in the narrow space.

Suddenly, he bent to gnaw at her earlobe.

What did this guy want on earth?

Elizabeth shuddered abruptly.

"Little poor thing, how dare you threaten me with Marvin? Want to try your elder brother's guts and see what he would do to me if I rape you today?"

Elizabeth found it hard to breathe, almost frightened to death. Reluctant to give in, she reached out to punch Robert's face...

In the next second, Elizabeth slumped to the ground, losing her consciousness.

White walls came into her sight as she opened her eyes again. The pungent smell of the disinfectant wafted into her nose. With sharp pain shooting up her body, Elizabeth struggled to sit up from the bed before landing her gaze on her left hand. Not until then did she know she was on a drip.

The nurse hurried forward after seeing her awake. "You finally woke up, girl. Do you know why you lost your consciousness? You're too weak and malnourished because of your over-indulgence in sex. You would get yourself killed if it continued."

Elizabeth was still in a daze. Didn't she try hard to get rid of that guy named Williams in the car? That beast intended to rape her...

Elizabeth felt her cheeks burn upon hearing the nurse's words.

It turned out that she passed out in the car...

With her heart giving a physical lurch, Elizabeth removed the needle inserted in the back of her left hand before putting on her shoes to get off the bed. Marvin would break her legs should he find out she didn't come back home last night.
