Every time I hesitated, as long as he spoke, I knew that I would definitely compromise.

He was right. I couldn't afford rent now. Even though my father was doing well after the surgery, he still needs a lot of medication to maintain his health. I was the sole breadwinner for my family.

"Brandon, I'm still unpacking my clothes. It's getting late. I have to work tomorrow."

I didn't push him away, but I still reminded him in a low voice.

"You can also unpack your clothes tomorrow. You will live here in the future anyway. It doesn't matter when you unpack them."

He didn't expect me to have such a reaction. Brandon raised his eyebrows and his voice became a little hoarse. "Hollie, what are you doing?"

"Don't you want to have sex? Hurry up and finish it earlier. I want to rest."

I opened my eyes and looked at him.

I had thought that he would just pounce on me and do the deed quickly, but he didn't.

"Hollie, this thing is for both of us to enjoy. Why are you treating it like a task?"
