After saying goodbye to Edward, Abby walked out of the school gate and found a cool place with a shade of trees to wait for the bus.
At this moment, a black Benz suddenly stopped in front of Abby, making her take two steps back.
The car window was rolled down. A woman with delicate makeup said, "Miss Miller."
It was Richard's stepmother, Daisy Scott!
Why was she here?
Hello, Madame Scott.
Abby greeted her politely.
"Miss Miller, are you free now? I want to talk something with you."
Daisy smiled.
Abby was hesitant. She looked around and found there were no other cars coming.
"Don't you want to give me face?" Daisy said coldly.
"Madame Scott, I have something to do later. You can say it right now."
Abby frowned. If the driver could not pick her up, Richard would be furious.
"Do you think you are polite as a junior?"
Daisy frowned and felt a little angry.
Abby frowned deeply.
She really didn't know how to face Daisy.
She and Richard were not real lovers but dealt with each other.
"I'm sorry, Madame Scott. I really have something to do."
Abby lowered her head and apologized. She was also worried that Daisy found her for nothing good.
"Get in. It won't take you too much time. Or, do you want to talk with me about Richard in public?"
Daisy opened the car door and asked Abby to get in.
Abby finally get in Daisy's car.
Today, Daisy wore a light purple dress, which was very fitting, showing her graceful figure.
She looked noble.
Abby sat beside her and felt uneasy. She knew that as the wife of the head of the Scott Family, Daisy was not a kind person.
What did she look for her for?
Ten minutes later, the Benz stopped at the gate of a western restaurant.
Daisy walked gracefully in front of her. The waiter greeted her warmly, "Welcome, Madame Scott."
Daisy nodded and smiled.
Abby followed behind her with her schoolbag on her back.
They sat near the window. Then Daisy said, "What do you want to eat, Miss Miller?"
"It's up to you."
Abby replied casually. She was not in the mood to eat and chat with Daisy. She was thinking how to explain to Richard later.
The waiter quickly served the meal. Abby ate her meal with an uneasy mood.
She could clearly feel that Daisy was looking at her while eating.
Abby felt bad. She not only needed to stand being badly treated by Richard, but also needed to be inquired by his family.
"Are you an orphan?"
Daisy asked while wiping her mouth, and then she took a sip of juice.
"Yes."
Abby put down the tableware and nodded.
"I advise that you should break up with Richard. You are an orphan, and you are not suitable to Richard. The Scott Family won't allow you to marry Richard."
