Alexander Parker.
He was that man who had seemingly appeared out of thin air.
Allison had handed herself over to fate just when Julius’ slap was about to land on her cheeks. At the last moment, Alexander appeared and saved her from her impending fate.
Alexander was clutching Julius’ wrist hard and this made him whimper in pain as he begged Alexander to let go of him.
“Who are you? Let my husband go now.” Anna, who was by their side, saw that things had taken a turn for worse and stepped in.
Alexander saw Anna coming towards him and he responded by letting go of Julius’ hand as if a virus was approaching him. He then pulled Allison to his side in one fell swoop.
His motion was smooth and elegant.
He tilted his head slightly as he asked worriedly, “Are you hurt?”
Although his tone was still as cold as ever, his words had warmed her up from the inside.
She met Alexander’s gaze while meekly nodded in his direction.
Seeing that someone had appeared out of nowhere to protect Allison, Anna was even more frustrated for not being able to retaliate. To top it off, the man that appeared seemed to be in a class of his own.
She roared at Alexander, “Who the hell are you? Are you trying to poke your nose in other people’s affairs?”
When Anna just finished her sentence, Julius got a good look at Alexander and a drastic transformation occurred on his face. He blurted out in fear, “Mr… Mr. Parker!”
Mr. Parker?
Anna turned around to check what was going on with Julius.
Although she had never seen Mr. Parker in person, there weren’t many people who could be called by that name in J City. Furthermore, if that person had such an outstanding appearance, it could only be that particular person.
“You are Alexander Parker?” Anna couldn’t believe her eyes.
The man who was guarding Allison turned out to be that Alexander who had the whole of J City in his palms.
This nonsensical fiasco finally ended.
A bustling crowd had formed around them, and at the sight of Alexander, they all couldn’t suppress their desire to take out their phones and capture a photo of him. At that moment, Bernard hurriedly came over.
“Handle the aftermath.” Alexander ordered.
“Yes.”
Allison who was next to him froze. This was the first time she had seen someone with such immense aura. His words alone seemed like they could trump over everything.
“Missus, it’s time to leave.”
Bernard whispered by her ears.
Allison came back to reality and at a glance, the onlookers were gone like the wind.
Alexander was already starting to move away. Without thinking too much, she broke into a chase.
