I don't need you to accept anything, and as long as you don't refuse, that's the best outcome for me. You're mine. I'm not asking for your love right now, and I won't meddle too much. But, from now on, I want in on everything that's about you."

That's Tyrone for you. Arrogant, shameless even, but offering the strongest fortress.

He brushed a strand of hair from Quintessa's face. "I didn’t come here to force anything on you. It’s just that I think you should know what’s on my mind. You should know I like you, not treating you as an object. I'm serious."

"Besides... why should I pour my heart out to you, and you act as if nothing's happening? I need to put some pressure on you, let you know I'm here. Don't just casually flirt with any guy. You're mine. But I don't want to end up giving you away to the guy next door."

Quintessa couldn't help but laugh. "Alright..."

Tyrone tipped her chin up. "Try to find your heart. I'll help you. Until you're sure about how you feel, you're my girlfriend. And of course... even more so once you've made up your mind."
