Chapter 490 Jerry Endures the Torture
Jerry panted, enduring the pain in his back. He said with difficulty, "I didn't... take Dewey's key, and I didn't get to the top floor. I didn't... steal..."
"You're lying!"
His back was hit by the cane repeatedly and intensely.
Under the bloody shirt, even the part that was not bleeding was bruised and swollen. There was no good part.
Every time the cane smashed onto him, it would tear through the swollen wound, causing him to bleed badly.
"Ah..."
Jerry gave a muffled groan and his straight back finally collapsed. When he supported himself with one hand, his arm trembled uncontrollably from the pain.
"Roman, I really... didn't..."
Konner, who was standing by the pillar, felt a lingering fear and could not bear to see the miserable condition on Jerry's back.
Jennifer covered her mouth and cried sympathetically.
Being forced to watch this was also quite torturous for them.
Only Ronian didn't feel anything. His malicious and ruthless eyes didn't show any sympathy.
He was analyzing the thing seriously.
"You almost knocked Dewey down in the aisle, and you were the only one that got close to Dewey tonight. I checked the top floor. Someone touched the cabinet. I lost a very important potion!"
"You didn't go downstairs until the banquet started. I asked the servants to urge you. But you weren't in the room and couldn't be found anywhere. Perhaps at that time, you were stealing on the top floor, right?"
At the end of his words, he roared. He didn't give Jerry time to kneel straight, and he continued to violently abuse Jerry on his scarred back.
"Say it! Where is the thing? why did you steal it from your family? Did you cooperate with viola to frame me?"
The sound of caning kept going on.
The blood-stained cane stirred the blood on the white shirt every time it fell down.
Jerry was in so much pain that he couldn't stand straight. He knelt down and curled up. "I didn't..."
The whole villa was searched several times, especially Jerry's room. The bodyguards searched the room at least dozens of times, including every corner.
Jerry had also been searched twice by Ronian who found nothing.
However, Ronian refused to let him go. Because he had been close to Dewey, Roman insisted that Jerry had stolen.
But no matter how hard Ronian hit Jerry, Jerry kept saying he didn't take it.
Ronian was even more furious, and he waved the cane even more fiercely.
From the beginning, Ronian only hit his back, but now it became disorderly abuse. Ronian also hit him on his arms and waist. The sound made all the members of the Felton family tremble with fear.
"Jerry, don't think I do not know who did this even though you don't say it! Before you ruin me, I will definitely kill you first!"
Crack!
The sound of the cane in Jerry's ear was like it coming from hell.
Jerry gritted his teeth and forced himself to hold on. He was in so much pain that he gradually lost consciousness. He began to groan in pain unconsciously.
He went abroad and hid his identity for a year, living a peaceful and stable life. It had been a long time since he had experienced such ruthless torture. The pain was more than he could stand.
With a clatter, the second cane snapped after the continuous whipping.
After hitting for so long, Ronian was also a little tired. He threw the broken cane into a corner.
He panted slightly and rolled up his sleeves.
He called the bodyguard in.
The bodyguard outside the door immediately came in and said respectfully, "Mr. Felton."
Ronian turned to the miserable Jerry on the ground again. Jennifer held him very tightly, preventing the bodyguards from waving the vines toward him. she cried hard.
"Jerry, as long as you give me the stolen key and medicine, I will spare you this time."
Jennifer also said, "Jerry, if you really took it, hand it over. Otherwise, Roman will beat you to death!"
Jerry smiled bitterly with his pale lips. Because of the pain, cold sweat kept dripping down his chin, wetting the floor.
He couldn't take out the thing that was not in his hands.
Moreover, he knew if he really admitted it, he would undoubtedly die.
"I didn't. 1 didn't steal the key. I didn't take the medicine. Roman searched my body and my room. And nothing was found. How could I give you what I don't have?"
He threw the dagger to the place where the bodyguard holding the cane stood, and he laughed very mournfully.
"People's prejudices are really scary. No matter what I say, you don't believe me. Kill me directly. Why torture me and hurt the family bonds?"
"Family bonds?"
Ronian scoffed.
He didn't believe Jerry. Actually, he didn't believe any of Jerry's words.
He only believed his own analysis and speculation. After he beat up Jerry, his anger dissipated a lot, and he became more rational now.
"Well, I just announced your return to the Felton family. It's not the right time to cause trouble. I spare you this time. But If I find the evidence later and prove your guilt, I will make you more dead than alive!"
He gritted his teeth, snorted, and left the hall without looking back.
This meant that Jerry had barely passed the interrogation tonight. Jerry endured the pain and breathed a sigh of relief. His strained nerves got calmed.
His vision became more and more blurred, and he was overwhelmed with darkness. He fell into the arms of Jennifer.
"Jerry! Someone helps me! Jerry fainted. Go and get the doctor!"
